How Is The Post COVID World

Post COVID World
In the early months of 2020, people were talking about a pandemic that would have huge consequences for not just their country, but also the rest of the world. After all we had already experienced in 2020, it was no secret that COVID-19 was going to be devastating and deadly. People weren’t talking about the consequences of this coronavirus or what would happen if we got infected with it at any time. We were finally seeing how serious this virus could become and why we should take precautions when we go out in public. The first wave was severe enough, but not as bad as other epidemics, which was expected. In early January 2020, there were 4,500 new cases of COVID-19 in China and 6,000 deaths. While the US still has around 35,000 cases and 700 deaths, Europe had 1,000 plus deaths even though they are less developed countries. This virus has been called “the Black Death” because it killed off-white Europeans before many others did. It was a great surprise and made me want to do something different with my day. Because the UK, EU, USA and Canada are among those countries that have been at such high risk in the past few years, I decided to make some changes at home and my friends’ houses. To bring back our social interactions as much as possible! A little extra “social distancing” in front of the TV was one way to keep myself entertained. I got into yoga and started to work on breathing techniques and finding ways to manage stress and anxiety. One of my biggest lessons was practicing meditation, so now I focus more on making sure I take care of my surroundings rather than doing things that I can control. As a result, many of my friends started using mindfulness apps to help them deal with stressful situations. And this is an important step, as I believe that too much of anything can lead to negative emotions, negative thoughts, and poor mental health. With the help of these apps and yoga, I became more aware of my state of mind and what triggered unnecessary feelings. So far I haven’t seen much socialization here, only by taking part in small groups where everyone has to wear masks. However, with the increase in the number of coronavirus cases happening, people are starting to gather again. At least two major soccer games have been postponed due to the amount of COVID-19 cases. There is no reason to panic, and people have taken safety precautions to protect themselves from being infected with coronavirus. Even though I’ve been able to watch the game live, I feel very scared and scared of my own team’s performance. But that’s something everyone feels like, especially after having lots of training sessions and spending loads of money on equipment. My mother, who is a nurse herself and is helping doctors and nurses in hospitals by giving them free medical advice during coronavirus symptoms, felt this strain firstly because she thought what the hospitals were doing to the patients looked strange. But also because it made her worried for her own and her daughter’s life and how it could affect this generation by following guidelines. Not surprisingly, a lot of parents are worried about sending their kids to school. Parents are wondering if they will be safe in schools. They are worrying about their children learning in person, or maybe online. Kids are used to learning in school, in person. All I know is that if you are having doubts, or maybe you need extra motivation about keeping your children safe, then please send a family member or friend to share the experience with you as well! Parents know kids are feeling lonely, and they want to make them happy. Parents want their kids to see smiling faces on screen, not sad facial expressions. I wish there was another cure that’s safe, and I think most people would agree with that. People want their kids to feel loved and get better. I believe that the best way to help is by showing your children how others need and love them. So do what you can! Send someone to see what their environment looks like at home. If you notice that your kids are looking down at phones or anything that makes them unhappy, don’t let them see that. Instead of acting angry or threatening, try to put everything into perspective and show them the real picture of what the outside world looks like. Most families aren’t wealthy enough to buy masks and pay for their children to wear them. But we can make this possible by working together on the supplies needed to keep us healthy. Don’t forget, this is a global pandemic, so it is more important than ever to have these masks and other necessary items. You need them more than you can imagine. Make sure you get them for yourself! Let’s take care of each other. Take care of yourselves, stay safe!

So until we find a vaccine for COVID-19 in 2021, people are definitely going to need to take precautions in public. Don’t be afraid to talk with strangers, watch some movies or play a sport, but always try to maintain maximum distance from other people around you by wearing a mask. That would be one thing I would be doing too! Being careful can save a lot of days for us, but staying safe can save lives. Be safe wherever you are, and see you soon!
