How Is Science Blessing Or Curse?

The literal meaning of science is - special knowledge, man has been setting the stairs of development since ancient times by making new inventions. The impact of the achievements of science can be seen in every sphere of life. Various inventions of science have made human life comfortable.
Today there is a competition in all the countries of the world to move forward in the field of industrialization. Without the support of various scientific discoveries and technological inventions, this competition cannot be won. There is no such area of ​​life where science has not reached – food, clothes, house, shop, even the sky is the word of science in all. Food preparation equipment, synthetic textiles, engineering in building construction, commercial calculators, computers and satellites in space are all the products of science. Today, sitting at home, man can see the events happening in the country and abroad, can listen to news, music through radio, can convert darkness into light with the invention of electricity and can make his house air-conditioned. Today, it seems that if scientific inventions are removed from human life, then human life will become completely zero.

Human beings have also made great progress in the field of medical science. Today man has cured smallpox, TB with the help of science. He has eradicated the dreadful diseases from the root itself and has made heart and brain operations possible. A dreaded disease like cancer is no longer so incurable. Today science has given eyes to the blind, ears to the deaf. Even an aesthetic surgery can give a beautiful look to all the organs.
It is accepted by all that science has provided a lot of comforts to human beings. In ancient times, man used to take years to cover long distances, many difficulties also had to be faced. But today thousands of miles of distances are covered in a few hours with the help of motorcar, train and aircraft. Any country can be reached by crossing the largest sea by ship. These scientific tools have brought the countries of the world very close. Today America, China, Japan, Russia and all the countries of Europe are the same in terms of distance; such as Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.
The invention of the telephone has proved to be a boon for man. We humans sitting thousands of miles away can talk on the telephone. Not only this, now those who talk on the telephone can also see each other. The inventions of fax, e-mail, net have brought revolutionary changes in the field of communication.
Some people consider science to be a curse because it has given birth to great weapons of destruction. So many types of deadly weapons have been created that the whole world can be destroyed in minutes. This arms race is not because of science, but because of the current world order. The imbalanced development of the world, the division of the world into poor and rich countries and the ambition of the developed capitalist countries to dominate the underdeveloped countries have given rise to this disorder. Therefore, to save science from being a curse, the world system has to be changed. The new system would end the arms race and avoid the stigma of being called a science curse. Today, man has taken the whole world in his grasp with the help of science, but a lot is slipping out of his grasp like sand, so science has become not only a boon but also a curse in one way or the other. The reason for this is that on the one hand, where man is using science in his own interest, on the other hand, he is also preparing to destroy the civilization, culture and all the capital acquired by him till now with the help of terrible weapons. Scientists have invented such atomic bombs that unfortunately if they ever explode, then the country will go to the cheek of time. During World War II, America used atomic bombs on Japan, the consequences of which are still being experienced by the people there.
