A person sometimes sees many things in the state of sleep which he cannot see in the state of awareness and wakefulness. It is commonly referred to as the dream word. In summary, the interpretation is that in a dream, the soul leaves the body and wanders in the upper world and the lower world, which it cannot see in the waking state. It should be called the spiritual sense, the physical sense can only dominate the present and the spiritual sense perceives and realizes both the present and the absent, therefore, such conditions and qualities are observed in the dream, which surprise the dreamer himself. Sometimes happy and sometimes horrible images emerge in the mind and with awakening the whole story fades away. Dreams have been mentioned in various places in the Qur'an and in the hadiths, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has described it in some detail, which shows that the existence of dreams is true. Although the dream of people other than the Prophets is not a Shariah proof, it is due to the blessing of God and the blessings of Prophethood. It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: A good dream is one of the forty-six parts of prophethood. It refers to the knowledge of prophecy, that is, vision is one of the components and parts of the knowledge of prophecy. (Sahih Bukhari and Muslim) If we consider, in this hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has described the virtues of a good and better dream and has declared it as a sign of prophethood.
It should be noted that there are three types of dreams: The first type is the thought of the self, that is, the affairs that a person is engaged in throughout the day and the things that are overshadowing his heart and mind are seen in the form of dreams in the night, for example, a person A person is busy in his professional work and his mind is occupied with the same things that are related to his professional work, so he sees the same things in his dream, or a person with his beloved. He is engrossed in the thought of and the shadow of the beloved always remains on his mind, so the same beloved remains overshadowing the world of his dreams. Therefore, the thing that is most overshadowed on the mind of the person in the waking world, that is what he sees in his dream. Such a dream has no credibility.
The second type is nightmare, this dream is actually a layer of demonic influence. Satan is the enemy of mankind since eternity, and just as he tries to mislead and disturb man when he is awake, in the same way he does not allow man to be deceived even when he is asleep. Therefore, he uses various tactics to disturb and frighten a person in his dream. Sometimes he appears in a scary form that makes the dreamer extremely afraid, sometimes he shows such dreams in which the sleeper sees his life as he sees that my head has been cut off, etc. In the same way, the presence of a dream in a dream, which leads to ghusl and sometimes because of it, the prayer is lost or is canceled, is the charisma of the same satanic influence. Like the first type, it is unreliable and inexplicable. This dua has been instructed in the hadith to protect against similar scary and bad dreams. The words of Allah are the end of wrath and punishment, and of the evil of worshipers, and of the devils' temptations. (Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi) "I seek refuge in the words of Allah from His wrath and punishment, from the evil of His servants, from evil spirits and influences, and from the devils coming to me and persecuting me."
The third type of dream is that which has been said by Allah to be good tidings, that Allah, the Exalted, gives glad tidings to whomsoever of His servants He wills in his dream, and in the mirror of his heart He shows the difficult things that will happen in the future as signs and signs. is about to happen or which is related to the spiritual and heart maturity of the believer, let the person be happy and feel refreshed in seeking the truth, as well as have good faith and hope in the Almighty, this is the type of dream that is worthy. It is trustworthy and interpretable and whose excellence and praise is described in the hadith. (Modern Right Demonstrations)
A good dream is a tiding and good news from Allah Ta'ala that the person is happy and his dream is a reason for his good treatment and hope towards Allah Ta'ala and an increase in gratitude to Allah, and a bad dream is a reflection of satanic influences. That is, a person is naturally disturbed and saddened by a bad dream, which makes Satan very happy, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) has instructed that a person who sees a bad and unwanted dream should give thrice to the left side. And he sought refuge with Allah three times from Satan and changed his crotch on which he was sitting while dreaming. (Mishka: 394)
In the second hadith, it is said that when someone sees such a dream, he should not pay attention to it, nor should he narrate it to an enemy or a friend. Will be safe. The wisdom of not narrating such a dream to an enemy or a friend is that the listener will be bound to suffer from irregular illusions due to Gatvas when he gives a bad interpretation in view of the apparent state of the dream. Different types of fears, whispers and various illusions and thoughts will arise in the heart and mind, which will disturb the person and even if he wants, his peace and tranquility will be affected. Let it happen. Because the dream
