Improved See & Act Capabilities for Machine Learning
See & Act allows machines to perform tasks based on data collected by sensors. Stout is making headway in this area with the Smart Cultivator, a software-controlled tractor attachment that uses cameras, AI, and proprietary vision technology to distinguish between crops and weeds. Once identified, the machine simultaneously grows crops and removes weeds.
Ultimately, this technology will allow us to work simultaneously without the use of chemicals, making it easier for our customers to grow and weed. Stout's existing platform will expand the range of mechanical weed control products and accelerate the development of other cultivation solutions. Stout his machine will be available soon through the New Holland Brands dealer network.
