Buxar (बक्सर ): On Wednesday evening, while going from Prayagraj to Bihta, Due to a technical fault in the CH-47F Chinook helicopter of the Indian Air Force, it had to make an emergency landing in had to be done at Manikpur High School in Rajpur block. Although the Chinook Helicopter could not fly even after the malfunctions were rectified. But on the fourth day of landing, after a lot of effort and hard work by the engineers, the Chinook helicopter took off in the mud. Due to this, there is a wave of happiness among the army officers and the villagers. For the last three days, the Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter has been stuck on the muddy ground. Four tractors failed to push the helicopter.
At around 5 pm on Wednesday, due to a technical fault in the heavy helicopter Chinook CH-47F of the Air Force, a landing was made at Manikpur High School in Rajpur block.
Chinook was going away from Allahabad with many Air Force officers, but sparks started coming out of the pinnacle as soon as he entered the Buxar border. After this, an emergency landing was made immediately on Chinook's Manikpur High School as per convenience. 20 Air Force officers and personnel were traveling in the helicopter, who got out safely.
A team of engineers was engaged for 24 hours to repair the Chinook. Here, Chinook was stuck in the mud; the exercise to remove it was also going on. Many Indians jugaads were also used to remove the Chinook, but all failed to pull it. To remove the Chinook from the mud, which killed Osama bin Laden, the Air Force engineers employed 4 tractors with the help of the local people. Efforts were made for hours to pull this giant helicopter out of the mud, but it did not move even 1 inch.
After this, the indigenous Helicopter Chetak reached the grounds of Manikpur High School under Rajpur block of the district (Bihar) with all the equipment to get the Chinook helicopter taken off. Even after that, the Chinook helicopter did not succeed in taking off. Then the grasses of the field were cut to eliminate the swamps.
Here, a team of engineers was constantly trying to get it out. After which, Chinook took off at around 12:30 on Saturday, the fourth day of the helicopter's emergency landing. Let us inform you that in the security of Chinook, elaborate security arrangements were made on the campus. A large number of security forces were deployed round the clock for its security.
Here, a crowd of people of the area was also gathering to see it. Let us tell you that this helicopter is considered the most capable of carrying heavy equipment in high and inaccessible areas. In 2015, India bought 22 Apache and 15 Chinook helicopters from the US for $ 2.5 billion. After the Pulwama attack, 4 Chinook helicopters were first inducted into the Indian Air Force in March 2019.
