How I Win My Battle with Bipolar Disorder

I have experienced bipolar disorder since my mid-twenties. I am currently in my early forties and have figured out how to monitor it with medication as well as the help of my companions, family and my wonderful and empathetic husband. Unfortunately, it took a long investment to get to the point I'm at now. For a long time, I endured the hardships of trying to live a useful and practical existence, regardless of being tormented by the warped qualities that my condition welcomed. During this time, I was unable to seek appropriate treatment because I was not informed that I had bipolar confusion. More than one specialist decided I was suffering and the medication I was given barely helped my overall condition. My times of melancholy were accompanied by brief stretches of hyper behavior, some more extraordinary than others. I generally accepted that these were the highs and lows of life. During the times of my misery, which, moreover, varied from long and mighty, I often lost my work. I couldn't concentrate because the feelings of sadness were so strong every now and then that I never got through on certain days. During my hyper times I often felt the sky was the limit. While my outlook was positive during these episodes, I was often in a bad mood and difficult to deal with. My happiness was followed by times of predictability once in a while, but eventually I slipped back into hopelessness. During a particularly long bout with gloom that required hospitalization, I was finally properly determined to have bipolar disorder. Just watching what was going on inside me helped me see some of the issues I was dealing with. I was given a number of prescriptions to address my condition and through directing, I figured out how to anticipate the onset of episodes and keep up with sane thinking throughout. Despite being constantly aware of my condition, I currently continue to lead a practical and fulfilling existence that I cherish. Fortunately, today there are many sources of data on bipolar turbulence and the clinical local area is much better informed about its presence. Assuming you're experiencing some of the side effects I've described, I encourage you to seek out more information and inform your doctor of your concerns. Know that assuming you are in fact experiencing the ill effects of bipolar problem, you can help get your life back on track through the treatment options available today. My contemplations and prayers to God are with you.
