How Human Health, Environmental Quality and Governance Quality

Climate change is intrinsically tied to health. Variations in the global climate have an impact on human health. Environmental cleanliness is critical to human health and well being. However, because it overuses the environment and its resources, unchecked and unregulated development leads to problems with environmental health. Environmental health problems are global issues since they go beyond national boundaries. Both acute and long term effects are possible, such as skin cancer from exposure to arsenic in groundwater, water borne diseases brought on by poor sanitation, and excessive U V radiation (from the thinning stratosphere of the ozone layer). Technological activity has led to the beginning of environmental degradation in developing countries as well as the expansion of sources of air pollution, including cars (1–5). Of these deaths, the majority (3.3 million and 2.6 million, Since liberalization and deregulation came about in concert with rapid economic progress, growing environmental degradation has been a major issue for the lives of the populace (6–12). In 2020 alone, there were wildfires in Australia and California, the worst floods China has seen in decades, the first heat wave in Antarctica with temperatures rising above 20 °C, micro plastic found in Antarctic ice, and locust swarms destroying crops in parts of Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Another significant environmental issue is habitat loss, which is being accelerated by land clearance for cash crops such fruits, vegetables, sugarcane, and palm oil. As a result, agriculture is the main cause of deforestation (13). Thirdly, poor air quality is a major environmental disaster.
