How has the COVID-19 trend evolved over the years?

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a newly discovered coronavirus-related disease. For most persons with COVID-19, symptoms are mild to moderate and recuperate without special treatment. The World Health Organization (WHO) was notified of a cluster of pneumonia cases in Wuhan City, China, on December 31, 2019. SARS-CoV-2 was the cause of COVID-19, a severe acute respiratory syndrome. It has been determined that SARS-CoV-2 originated in bats and spread to other animals before infecting humans at the Huanan wet market in Wuhan, China. 

COVID-19 is an infectious disease.

Some studies suggest that men in these groups are at greater risk than women. COPD, cardiovascular disease, and hypertension are strong predictors of intensive care admission.

Vaccines do their job, and they are highly effective. In Israel and the United Kingdom, real-world data show a sharp reduction in hospitalizations and deaths, validating the clinical trial results.  It appears that vaccines reduce transmission as well, though not as much as they do severe disease. 

Current trends of Deadly virus: 

More infectious variants of concern are likely to cause a new wave of cases in the coming months. In addition, some variants may reduce vaccine efficacy or promote reinfections. It's possible, however, that the timelines could be extended into late 2021 or even later if the impact of these variants is significant. 

The situation hasn't changed much in the last few years. There are more virulent variants of the original virus, which have been forgotten. According to the World Health Organization, the most dangerous Delta variant is now present in about 100 countries (WHO). 

Many things have been permanently altered by the pandemic, and they are for the better because of it. In recent years, the issue of climate change has been given more attention and attention. It was clear from the lockdowns that nature can quickly heal itself when the conditions are just right. Another beneficiary is international cooperation.
