This story begins in a small village, where a poor middle-class family lived, a girl named Suchana. She was given away in marriage at the age of twelve. She was married off as a child. This custom is still followed in many villages today. Although she still lived in her own house, she had to go to her in-laws' house only after she turned 18 yrs. But Suchana was very good at studies. She used to do well in exams from a young age. Her school teachers used to say that this girl would do something great one day. But the mentality of the people of the village was very narrow, they did not let the girls study further. They would teach them housework after they finished sixth to seventh grade and then get them married. With time, Suchana's thinking started to change. Because she was good at studies, her teachers used to encourage her. Do something and become a big officer. Even though she wanted to express her wishes many times, she could not dare. The people of the village were very strict about these matters and no decision could be taken without the Panchayat. Thus, Suchana hid her fantasies in her mind.
At the age of 18, Suchana got married again in a grand ceremony and was sent to her in-laws' house. She started performing all her duties very well. She looked after her father-in-law and mother-in-law and did all the household chores. As the days went by, Suchan's desire to do something flared up like fire. She did not want to spend her life just inside the house. She talked to her husband Antim, can I study now? But Antim said, is there anything lacking in our house? We have money, we have land, you stay at home and stay in peace. Take care of my parents. A fight started over this which turned into a big problem. Gradually their thoughts did not match. The distance gradually increased between the two. There came a time when Antim started raising his hand on Suchana. Suchana was not a girl who gave up easily. She wanted to do something big and she knew that she had that power. At night, Suchana wrote a letter to her husband, telling him that yes, I was married at the age of 12, but my dream was alive since then. I wanted to become a big officer since childhood. I want to prove myself. So I am leaving this house, don't come looking for me, I will return as a big officer one day. If you want, you can wait for me, although you have insulted me many times, but as a wife, I will always pray for your health and success.
First, she filled the form for her BA graduation as a private student and got admitted to a college. After completing this three-year graduation, she started studying for UPSC on her own. But if she wanted to get selected, she had to get admitted to a big coaching center. So she started working as a domestic help in a house, she had to sweep four-five houses in the morning and evening, in return for which she would get 10,000 rupees a month. She used this money to cover the costs of preparing for the UPSC. She got admitted to a coaching center and since she had work in the morning and evening, she studied hard all day long. She was convinced that persistence would eventually pay off. Now she had a BA degree but UPSC was a tough challenge for her. She was not selected in the first year. Suchana was not discouraged by this. It is said that no matter how much fate cries, if there is a desire in the heart, then misfortune changes into good fortune one day and that is what happened with Suchana. This time she got an extraordinary rank in the entire country in the UPSC examination. On the basis of that rank, she was appointed as an I.A. S Magistrate, which was her big dream. After getting this post, she got a government car and power. Now she is more courageous than before because her childhood dream has finally come true. This was her chance to show everyone a new side of her life and demonstrate to them that any goal can be accomplished with unwavering willpower.
In the meantime, the arrangements for the Mahakumbh started from 14th January 2025 under the responsibility of the Uttar Pradesh government. Crores of devotees bathed in the holy confluence. To control such a huge and unplanned crowd, the Uttar Pradesh government gave the responsibility of security to skilled and honest high-ranking government officials from different parts of the country in Prayagraj. Suchana was invited to fulfill the responsibility of the Prayagraj Mahakumbh and has been known for her honesty and extraordinary work for a long time. To understand the responsibility better and to see for herself, she went out with her team to inspect the grounds of the Kumbh Mela. She wanted to see for herself whether people were breaking the law anywhere, whether anyone was dumping polluted substances in the Ganges River or whether any anti-social elements were trying to create chaos at the fair. She wanted to see everything with her own eyes. At this time, suddenly she saw a person in a very poor condition. His clothes were dirty, his face was covered in dirt and dust, and he was begging people for alms. At first, Suchana did not pay much attention, but suddenly her eyes fell on the name written by the person and that is when she was shocked. This person was none other than her husband, Antim. When Antim saw Suchana, he was shocked. Tears of shame and regret started flowing in his eyes and he sat on the ground. Seeing Suchana in front of him, he controlled himself and stood up. Tears of joy and regret were in Antim's eyes. He said, "You are my Suchana." You really did what you said, I am proud of you. Saying this, he tried to hold Suchana's hand but the other workers nearby thought her crazy and pushed her away. Suchana then shouted and said what are you doing? This is my husband. I have been looking for him for many years. Then after hearing the sad situation from her husband Antim, Suchana's eyes filled with tears and her husband held Antim's hand and said if you really try to change your mind then you will definitely get another chance in this life. We can all make mistakes because we are all human, but we should try to learn something good from them. Hearing this, all the workers standing around were stunned. They could not believe that their magistrate madam's husband would be found in this condition after so many years. Gradually their life became normal. People saw how a woman can rebuild her husband and family with her own hard work and faith. This proves that with the support of society and family, no battle has to be fought alone. We should move forward on the path of our dreams and fulfill our duties in any situation.
