How Golf The Real Thing
The ground is always greener on the different side. Not as green as I felt on the inside the day, I decided to check out this golf frisk.
I could Norway get my head around why all the excitement and fuss at the sheer citation of the word golf.
Off to the original driving range, I did go, named myself a golf club, and bought a commemorative for fifty golf balls. Maybe if I had more knowledge of the game, I would have realized the significance of choosing the right size golf club.
Fitting my commemorative into the niche to collect the golf balls. What an agony nightmare. Well? No bone told me to place a handbasket underneath the shoot. Those balls came submerging out like Niagara Falls. I quicken to add these balls didn't roll, they bounced. Some, indeed advance, then me, cursed they were without a dubiety.
Doomed from the start, a golf stick to suit Shrek and only twenty balls of my fifty. The rest for all I know could be in Timbuktu.
I remember more misses than successes, but I was sluggishly beginning to like and enjoy this so-called golf frisk.
Why not try the real thing? A voice called out from the chamber next to me. Is this not the real thing, I asked. No partner came to reply. You need to be on a program.
Determined to find out why this sport is so popular. I went in hunt of a course to play the real thing.
Plant me a course with eighteen holes. Now for the actual thing.
Taking the first shot and not taking my eyes off the ball, I watched it rotate in and around several humps down a channel and also swirl in and out of a maze of angles. A bit like the krypton factor, but I was hopeless to find out about the real thing.
It's 5 pm, and we're closing, the attendant called out. But I'm only on hole number three, I explained. I'm sorry Joe, why not come back tomorrow? And that I did for the coming fortnight. Because that's how long it took me to finish this particular course.
Pedro (The Attendant) and I had struck up a friendly relationship all the time I was going back and to. I'm hysterical, Pedro, this golf frisk isn't for me.
Senior this is crazy golf, it isn't the real thing. What's the difference, I asked. I'll need to show you, Senior? He answered.
Pedro explained that he'd many musketeers that he'd like me to meet up with. He also went on to say that they could help me in my hunt to find out what the major magnet in golf is for numerous thousands of people.
What lovely people Pedro’s musketeers were. Veritably instructional on the game. Oh? And boy oh boy they sure showed me many tricks of the trade.
It was all slipping into place now.
Knowing all the rules simplified and made this game more humane.
Yes? I was loving this new plant sport that was to change my whole way of life for the rest of my life.
It was time to leave, so I thanked everyone for their expert guidance. Now over to my good friend Pedro, who I seized with so important force, giving him such a virile clinch and shaking his hand at the same time. I couldn't thank him enough for his time and tolerance. It was a pleasure, Senior, Pedro replied. By the way, I didn't relatively catch your name, Senior.
