There appears to be one universal truth when it comes to dieting. No one really enjoys the process, though we all eagerly wait and hope for the result. The problem is that a lot of men and women around the world are so focused on dieting and perfecting their outward beauty that they forget the beautiful people they are along the way. Our culture is becoming increasingly obsessed with the perfect body and perfect body image.
If there was one message that should be clear to everyone who dies, it is this: Dieting should be about health more than beauty. You don't need to conform to some preconceived notion of what is or should be beautiful. If we made a world where everyone looked the same, it would be quite boring in the end.
You need to focus on being happy to achieve the biggest dieting success you could have ever dreamed of. Many uses eat from an emotional need or a simple need for comfort when we are sad, hurt, uncertain, or simply in unfamiliar territory. There is no one solution that will work for everyone when it comes to making peace with who you are, and this in no way indicates that you should no longer seek to be the healthiest. It simply means that your focus should be more on who you are with as a person, rather than creating or imagining a new person you might be hiding behind.
Dieting for the most part is an opportunity for many men and women to become another. Whether it's someone you used to be or someone you think you want to be, you're likely to find happiness at any weight as long as you accept you for the person inside you. Not there. This is often a difficult process, but it is well worth the effort. Once you accept the person inside you, you can meet those specific needs, which often initially lead to extra weight. Depression is a common factor in weight gain, as well as an inability to lose weight. With satisfaction, depression will no longer be the controlling factor in your life. For many people, this is the freedom they need from their weight problems, while others will find that there are still obstacles to be found.
The important thing is that you stop allowing the person you are to define what the scales say about you. Once you reach a point in your life where you are happy with your appearance and feel that your personal fitness level goes hand in hand, you should discuss things with your doctor and see if he or she what you want to say. We don't need a country the size of 5 women. We need a nation of women who are self-aware and confident and not afraid of how they are on the inside, no matter what they look like on the outside.
Take the time while dieting to know who you are and introduce that person to the person you want to be. Over time the two will strike a healthy compromise, and you may find that image isn't really everything, no matter what glossy magazines try to tell you.
