1) Become an Affiliate
Affiliate marketing is one of my favorite ways to make money online because it’s a good way for beginners. The good thing about affiliate marketing is that you don’t need any inventory, you don’t need any e-commerce site, you don’t even need to build your own product or service. The way it works is, you become an affiliate for someone else who has a product or service and then drive traffic back to them. It can be difficult to make a lot of money from affiliate marketing without some type of scale, but there are some very profitable affiliate programs out there that do work. You just have to find them! I recommend starting with Amazon, as they tend to have higher commissions than other platforms and take less out for themselves, so you end up making more per sale.
2) Use Tools To Create an Income Stream
The truth is, there are a lot of ways to create an income stream with digital marketing. Some marketers earn a living as affiliate marketers for brands like Amazon or Shopify, and others earn an income through selling their own products like e-books or courses. For others still, it might mean selling ad space on your website or even working as a social media manager for other businesses. There are definitely ways to make money online, but you need to know how to use tools properly in order to execute them successfully.
3) Start a YouTube Channel
YouTube is the best source to earn online. The YouTube is the world's second-largest search engine, and a ton of people use it every day to look for information, entertainment, or to sell their products and services. If you can produce videos that are interesting to your audience, there's a chance that you could make a career out of making videos for YouTube—whether it be by partnering with brands or creating ads on your own.
4) Work on Projects for Other Companies
Some projects you will complete may be more enjoyable than others. It’s fine to stick with one or two tasks per client, but make sure that you are still diversifying your work by offering different kinds of products and services. In other words, don’t just copy and paste for one customer—while it is quicker, a lot of clients see right through the scam!
5) Do the Freelance Thing
Freelance is the best way to show the skills and get money. It is also the easiest way to find work online and get money in your bank account. If you need to make some extra cash, then freelancing is the answer. As a freelancer, you can either focus on SEO writing or graphic design and other services like video editing, which are really popular nowadays due to their growing demand.
6) Sell Stuff On eBay or Etsy
You can sell stuff on eBay and Etsy, of course. But you can also sell things in your garage, on Facebook or at local craft fairs. Once you’ve established a baseline level of comfort with selling stuff, you can branch out into wholesale, consignment or other revenue streams. Most importantly: don’t spend money on inventory that may just end up being sold for less than what you paid for it. Aim to buy low and sell high—you might even make a little profit along the way!
7) Create an Online Course
Create an online course and teach your skills or knowledge. Skill share, Udemy, and Teachable are all great platforms to help you set up an online course. Course-creating websites like Udemy can be a great way to create a passive income stream from things that people already know how to do. If you’re knowledgeable in a certain subject area, make it into a class and offer it on sites like Udemy.
8) Start a WordPress Blog
As you can see, there are more ways than just blogging that will earn you money. If you like the idea of earning money for sharing your thoughts, it’s worth a try. However, as a beginner, you shouldn’t expect to make a lot of money from blogging. But at least you can get started with absolutely no startup costs and practice blogging regularly so that when your experience level increases, you can start taking on some bigger projects for better payouts.
