There is an old joke about a man walking down the street on a weekend morning and seeing another man who is obviously very drunk holding his knees and knees looking for something. "What do you want?" Asks the drunken man. "The keys to my house," replied the man. “Where did you throw them?” he asks. "Two roads away" he muttered. “Why don't you look there,” he asked confused. "Because light is much better here."
Now, during my initial training and learning, I was completely uncertain of myself in many ways! Yes, even me, some may say that I have gone too far now! I have tried many things I have learned about self-deception and various aspects of NLP's traditional methods to overcome this uncertainty and lack of confidence in my ability to do what I wanted to do, but none of them seemed to work for me. I was still getting butterflies in my stomach and I had no real confidence, I actually felt nervous about doing what I wanted to do (what if everything was wrong and I failed !!). I had spent time struggling with feelings of anxiety, and one day I said to myself, “Adam, just feel it, stop resisting it, stop fighting it; just feel it ”and something amazing happened. I felt a sense of shock, and then it disappeared! I was shocked. All those months and years of struggle, and all I really needed was hearing. I confessed and stopped resisting.
Doing this will increase your awareness of your world map.
One of the NLP's proposals is to 'meet people on their world map'. This is the process of seeing things from their point of view or knowing about their knowledge and it is an in-depth discussion sometimes. Now, I was ready to do this with other people and my successful medical consultation has for many years been a strong testimony to that, but before all that began, all those years ago, I suddenly realized that I had never met. on my world map. Whenever I felt feelings that I didn't like, I would struggle, resist and fight, and you know what it means: When you fight, someone always loses, and that person is you. So I decided to give up trying to control my emotions, instead I just admitted it and started working with it.
Where am I going with all this? If there is a feeling you find unpleasant or seemingly unhelpful or that you do not like, first, draw a feeling. This is just a process of identifying where that body is in your body, find that feeling in your body. Now think of how much, how it moves; I used to have a throbbing sensation in my abdomen that when I tightened it spread to my chest and back again. Really pay attention to the feeling of physiologically, even think about what the temperature is, you can even take a step further and imagine what color it would be if you had one etc.
Although most people claim to know how they feel, you may be surprised at how many people who are completely unfamiliar with the physical aspects of their feelings, just let them go on peacefully without really realizing it. Emotions are physical (they are chemicals and all kinds of other things), so the first step is to draw that body.
Next, embrace the feeling. It is also good that you feel. To find out more about how to make things happen in your life, too, re-dig the article in the previous issue of "Adam Up" that was about, available in the archive of my website.
Of course, this may be a small struggle for some people, who will no doubt say "But I do not want to hear" or "I should not feel it." I know some of you think that.
So here’s the thing: you feel it, and if you want to change your mood quickly, the best way to get you to meet you on your world map and embrace that introductory feeling you have. If you refuse to do this, then you are either against it or against it as I did at the time. Then any attempt to change it will involve starting when you are not, and that seldom works well (as our wise man who seeks his keys on the wrong road can attest to it.)
Then, you get a good intention. What does your body or your fainting spell try to tell you? Sometimes emotions have a message of some kind to us. Sometimes, it is just a feeling that our body has a sense of purpose. What (if any) is this feeling doing for you or trying to tell you?
Then; is the world. It's just the world. Make sure you do not struggle or fight, just feel it. Remember to breathe again ;-)
You should not do this for long, but it is good to hear something. Even if it sounds bad, just because you feel it means you are alive (woo-hoo!) And it means you are connected to how you feel. These are just some of the goal setting shareware that you can use. Often, simply accepting and acknowledging a feeling puts it in a very different way.
The last part of this process is to play with emotion.
Increase sensitivity. The reduction of it. If it was one color, make it another, if you went one way, moved it to another, if it was a certain size, multiply or make it smaller, actually, play with it and find out how much it costs. the influence you have on this feeling. I think you will be surprised when you realize how much influence you really have.
One of the first things you will notice is when you first feel how likely you are to get a handle on your emotions. You may find out for yourself that feelings are not true or false. They say nothing at all. It's just a feeling in your body. If you resist them, they will be there for a while, but if you accept
