How Evolution Of Iphone - iPhone SE (2022) - iPhone 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max (2020) Work

iPhone SE (2022)

With the release of the iPhone SE (3rd Generation), also known as the iPhone SE (2022), we experienced what appeared to be a modest design upgrade but a significant enhancement in capabilities. The design, which included a single camera on the back, rounded edges, and a rectangular 4.7-inch display on the front, was virtually unchanged from its predecessor.

Touch ID remained as user-friendly as ever, and by 2022, no other iPhone that Apple was still actively selling had the technology. The lowest price point for a brand-new iPhone sold by Apple continued to rise, reaching $429. However, the price felt more accurate than ever because of this handset's dependability, enhanced battery life, improved camera (and software), 5G connectivity, and newer chipset.

Even so, it was still a bit surprising to see such a small display on a new smartphone at a time when the typical new smartphone had a screen that was significantly larger. However, for most consumers, this remained the best option by default for the most basic, straightforward, and dependable mobile smartphone.

iPhone 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max (2020)

Along with the regular and pro models, Apple introduced the brand-new mini model with a slimmer design in the iPhone 12 series. The 5-inch super retina display and edge-to-edge design of the iPhone 12 Mini deliver the familiar iPhone user experience in a much smaller package. With a 6-inch screen, the regular iPhone 12 has a higher screen-to-body ratio than the non-pro model from the previous generation.

The aluminum iPhone 12 and 12 mini have the a14 bionic chip, which was the best in the industry at the time. The pro models 12 pro and 12 pro max, which are made of premium materials like glass and stainless steel and now have a flat-edge design at the sides, were improvised to improve image processing. A new ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view was added to the existing triple camera setup, and a new wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/1-6 improved low-light photography.

For portrait shots with a 4x optical zoom, the telephoto camera had a 52 mm focal length. In addition, the rear camera bump contained an L-I D-A R scanner, which enhanced the augmented reality applications for a more immersive experience. The super retina X Dr display, which could reach a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, was present in both pro models. According to the company, the 12 pro and 12 pro max are now the best-performing smartphones available, thanks to the cutting-edge a14 bionic chip.

The release dates for the iPhone 12 family were odd. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro were both made available for purchase on October 23, 2020, while the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max were both made available for purchase on November 13, 2020. The iPhone 12 and 12 mini had starting prices of $729 and $829, respectively. The starting price for the iPhone 12 Pro was $999, while the starting price for the iPhone 12 Pro Max was $1099
