How Effectively You Use This Expressive Marketing Solution! Podcast Marketing!

Each day begins and often ends with the same BIG question. Our customers and prospects ask us, "How can I grow my business and hold my fair market share?" Our answer states, "Build a foundation of hope and work on that pipe continuously and efficiently."

One BIG tip I can give you as you read my short captions today, learn how to become a successful PodCaster and watch your bottom line fly up!

Over the past decade, the Internet has created many new ways to advertise, from the publication and distribution of the four species to the practical procedures for using search engines.

As a broadcaster/television and radio marketing coordinator, I have had the pleasure of understanding the importance of radio and television marketing strategies for businesses and individuals in sending a voice to those who will be the audience.

Our weekly online radio program, Net Talk Radio, is well received among listeners and advertisers alike. I think I always knew that the speed of connecting with portable handheld devices would eventually allow for a much wider audience over time.

The day has finally come!

Although we started using our online talk radio format years ago, we can now make a pie by allowing our listeners to download our show (details and entertainment) by working directly on iPod and iRiver devices. Now our listeners can listen as they please whenever they like. And, as an added benefit to our key advertisers and us, we can track every beat (listener) night and day at the expense of a cup of coffee! We do all this by posting some of the most up-to-date audio/blogging technology known as "podcasting."

PodCast Marketing: * Anyone Can Do This!

First, What is Podcasting?

Podcasting is a term that has been introduced as a new way to describe the technology used to compress (share) audio content from websites to consumers (clients) of that content, which is often listened to on the iPod (hence the word “pod”) or other .mp3 (iRiver) player. As instructed, it is easy and controlled.

PodCasting is almost identical to the concept of timed video software and devices like TiVo, which allows you to watch what you want at the moment by simply recording and saving the video, except that PodCasting is used for audio so far. (General video posting is almost around the corner.) By that, I mean I have to explain that this easy-to-use technology is used to push (send) any file such as photos (images), software updates, videos, and/or text.

PodCasting uses XML-based technology called RSS (Really Simple Syndication). Content Publishers (PodCasters) define new content in an XML RSS file that includes dates, titles, descriptions, and specific links to .mp3 files. This “automatically generated” file is called an RSS feed. Dave Winer is widely regarded as the founder of RSS and a pioneer in the XML environment used. Part of making PodCasting work with RSS is “shutdown” (remember that name), something supported by RSS 2.0.

As a buyer or end-user, use "aggregator" (remember this name, too) as MTV's Adam Curry's iPodder program on your local computer, allowing you to subscribe to RSS feeds easily. Programs such as Adam's will can be by program or by random build, download RSS files, and check if any new content is available. The audio files are automatically downloaded and placed in a folder (optional) on your hard disk or moved directly to your mp3 player when new content is available.

As mentioned above, I have used an asterisk to make this untrue and often painful for others. While I say "Anyone Can Do This," I have to say correctly, "Anyone who reads well (from real experts) and activates their PodCast process can reap a huge harvest of BIGGER numbers by building and caring for their emerging community. As an online business owner, this is GREAT and is required! This marketing solution can not only make you solvent, but it can also make you a "STAR"!

Rate PodCast Magic At Your Arsenal

Here is a list of things you need to do to prepare for your first PodCast presentation.

1. Research the PodCast Element

Learn exactly what PodCasting is all about and how it works. I recommend visiting http://www.google.com and typing “PodCast Radio” in the search field.

2. Physical Search Only True Experts

Create a list of those PodCasters who no doubt know exactly what they are doing. Match to yourself the best. From this list, call them and select their minds. If you cannot find a direct contact point, I strongly urge you to delete it from your list. You want to do business with those who believe in "touching" their market more closely and personalized than just email. Remember, you want a friend. Counselor. It is not really possible for the person who will take your money to leave. Strong cooperation (friendship) is your goal here.

3. Find Your Will

What love do you share with others? What is the real value of your audience that will pick you up? Who are you targeting? Understand "WHY"!

4. Improve Your Plan & Operate Your Process

What do you need to learn? What do you need to do? What day will it be? Who will give you the support you will need to implement your plan? What equipment is needed?

Good Podcast Marketing!
