Probably the only protection for contemporary men is to explore who to use his intelligence in the service of love and kindness. The training of human intelligence must include the simultaneous development of the empathic capacity. Only in this way can intelligence be made an instrument of social morality and responsibility -and thereby increase the chances of survival. The morally flourished society would more prosperous and intelligent as it will know how to act with various problems in polite way and there will be a manner path for every action. There will be sympathy, love, harmony, care and humanity, all of them are the fundamental element of a well established society.
The need to produce human being with trained morally sensitive intelligence is essentially a challenge to educator and educational institutions. Traditionally, this realm of social morality was left to religion and churches as guardians or custodians. But the failure to fulfill this responsibility and their yielding to the seductive lure of the men of wealth and pomp and power are documented by history of the last two thousand years and have now resulted in irrelevant "God is Death" theological rhetoric. The more pragmatic men of power have had no time or inclination to deal with the fundamental problems of social morality. For them, simplistic doctrine must remain the guiding principle of their decisions -power is molarity, molarity is power. This over-simplification increases the chance of nuclear devastation. For rulers of every era, their dynasty remained the top priority upon which they can rule for more and more time. Morality means non to them as it will establish human consciousness and maturity, which would be acted against them.
We must therefore hope that educator and educational institutions have the capacity, the commitment and the time to instill moral sensitivity as an integral part of the complex pattern of functional human intelligence. Some way must be found in the training of human beings to give them assurance to love, the security to be kind, and integrity required for a functional empathy.
The only protection for today's men is to find the use of his intelligence in the service of love. Intelligence can become means of morality and survival if its training include human sympathy. Education can bring morality to intelligence. Task of teaching morality entrusted to the clergyman who failed because of their loyalty to the rich which resulted in loss of faith. The practical rulers and kings had no interest in morality in the past, nor they have developed any interest for it till today. It is the responsibility of each of us to ponder on this dilemma. One of the solution to this is the educator and educational institutions which can impart molarity and intelligence together in youths. This would be a founding stone for a civilized society, and this opportunity should not be wasted. The dire need of human society must be acknowledged, and we all should put our contribution within in order to secure our society from more degradation. Once such society form it will benefit all of us without any discrimination and difference.
