How does Fashion affect beauty?

When the high fashion industry pushes an altered and unrealistic standard of beauty, it makes the possibility to look like the standard unrealistic. In order to meet an unrealistic standard, people must put themselves through pain, disregarding their health and beauty. This is exactly what happened with Marilyn Monroe when she was a teenager, or at least had a strong imagination in her head about she should be, how she came into existence, and how she lived a glamorous life. Because of that, Monroe became famous for many reasons. But even though she made many mistakes in life, her love for the clothes reflected in all of them made her unique among other models. People were fascinated by her appearance as well. If they saw her in public, they will think: “Wow! She really turned out so handsome!” She was seen smiling everywhere she went, but no one knew if she was actually happy, or just tired from her day job. Marilyn Monroe was known for many things, but the most significant aspect of her personality is because she was a very beautiful woman. The way she looked and acted helped make Marilyn Monroe a star even before she knew what fame was doing. Marilyn Monroe was famous for two main reasons that are one obvious fact that everyone knows but not everybody can do, and two more facts that are often overlooked when describing Marilyn Monroe but can make up to 15 good points in your mind. First, Marilyn Monroe liked to dress up:She wore her hair in wigs, she wore long jewelry, and she had lots of little jewelry. She loved wearing jewelry & she used jewelry to express herself. You could imagine having a pearl necklace. We wear gold pendants now! (PBS). Second, Monroe was good-looking in every aspect of her life:I wore my lipstick so well there was nothing else I could wear... and I wore my makeup on my eyes so well you couldn't tell the difference.(CBS) Marilyn Monroe, whether she wore makeup on her eyes or not, was a very attractive young girl in that time period. There was enough evidence of this fact when we had said that Marilyn Monroe was known for using her makeup very well on her eyes. It will not have been her first time ever wearing makeup on her eyes, but when she got old, it was just something she did on any occasion. With Marilyn Monroe’s looks, she had a perfect combination of body type, facial features, and clothing style that was a lot like those of a perfect actress, except for one thing: Marilyn Monroe's face. Marilyn Monroe was considered beautiful after being born into a family of actors, but when she began acting she didn't know very much about herself, her interests, talents, and abilities. So Marilyn Monroe started off as the object of admiration in Hollywood, but was later hated due to several reasons. First, she wasn't considered beautiful because Marilyn Monroe was always short and chubby; Secondly, Marilyn Monroe was never allowed to be the lead in any film she appeared in, only supporting roles. Thirdly, Marilyn Monroe was considered ugly and ugly because she had  a broad nose and chubby cheeks. Lastly, despite being overweight, Marilyn Monroe still looked young because of how she dressed and acted. Her outfits were usually very pretty and feminine, but still gorgeous, which meant that she had a smart body type and large breasts. Even thought Marilyn Monroe was very cute and very attractive, people still didn't like her. For example, her friend, Jean Harlow said on April 3rd, 1937 "She has such big eyes that it would be painful to watch her get into a car, and there is no doubt that she will make a mistake sometime."(PBS). Although she looked quite sober, people still weren't okay with her. Marilyn Monroe had some trouble with the fans because they looked down upon her, especially when she decided to stop working in films entirely. Marilyn Monroe started to hate Hollywood the fact that she had to pay attention to the smallest detail about her life, she could not handle. A year before, Marilyn Monroe met Stanley Kubrick, a German filmmaker, he invited Monroe to his home, and then he decided to create the movie The Seven-Step Method. In the movie, Marilyn Monroe plays seven different roles, and each character was named Hildegard. During the filming of seven different scenes, each role was played by someone else, and Hildegard took over playing Marilyn Monroe. As the production continued, Marilyn Monroe refused to take part in The 7th step Method. Then two months after being hired, Marilyn Monroe left Hollywood after a dispute regarding her salary and even refused to go back. However, her reputation and her relationship with Hollywood did not improve with this decision, she was also told not to try new things. She tried and failed at many times yet never gave up. Despite being a talented actress. Marilyn Monroe was a highly successful person, but Hollywood doesn't like Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn Monroe's name and face were taken away, she was never able to turn this tragedy into Hollywood's success. And eventually, Marilyn Monroe did become Hollywood's biggest queen of movies. Marilyn Monroe was always known for being hot and looking smart, but that wasn’t the true case anymore. Marilyn Monroe was also a very popular figure in pop culture, but Hollywood was no longer interested in Marilyn Monroe. After the release of another movie called The Great Gatsby, American Director Charlie Chaplin became obsessed with Marilyn Monroe’s name and face, She has starred in six movies and has won two Academy Awards for best picture and screenplay. Some say this is why Marilyn Monroe deserves the title Queen of Modern World Cinema. Marilyn Monroe may live forever but, Hollywood does not want her name, but Marilyn Monroe is still alive.
