According to foreign media reports, a Chinese electric car manufacturer has decided to set up a power plant (EV) in Pakistan and large showrooms in the country.

The delegation, led by the company's vice president Yu Zhong, met with the vice president of FPCCI and announced it.

He further said that the use of electric cars will save a lot on the cost of petrol and allow people to travel easily and cheaply.

He said this is part of the long-term business plan, they are exploring Pakistani markets and the company is interested in setting up manufacturing units and showrooms.
