He also took the opportunity to respond to an individual who referred to the explicit version of his solo song "Seven" as the 'dirty version'. Additionally, Jungkook shared his reasons for favoring live chats with the BTS ARMY over posting on Instagram.
Addressing his fans on Weverse, Jungkook expressed his thoughts on being mocked for his drinking habits. He confidently stated, "Sure, some people might poke fun at me, saying, 'Oh, Jungkook's drunk and all.' But honestly, what's the big deal? Everyone has their preferences. If you don't drink, that's fine too. Feel free to talk about me in any way you want, it doesn't bother me." Jungkook further emphasized that he only values the support and care from those who genuinely care for him. He added, "If you don't like me, that's alright. Live your life as you please. I appreciate the little attention you give me anyway."
A curious individual inquired, "First, please explain why you made the dirty version of the song?" In response, Jungkook seemed taken aback, asking, "Dirty version? Why do you label it as the dirty version? Please share your reasons for thinking that way. It's simply the explicit version, not dirty. It's about being honest and straightforward. I understand that people may have different perspectives on this matter."
Jungkook then delved into his thought process behind the decision to release the explicit version, reflecting, "I carefully considered which version to release. Moreover, I am an adult, having dedicated ten years of my life to my work, and I'll be turning 28 next year. I realized that if I don't showcase a new facet of myself, I won't be able to take on genuine challenges."
Jungkook shared his thoughts on Instagram and live sessions, expressing, "Instagram can be a good platform for communication, but I prefer being more genuine and showing my true self. Of course, I can't reveal everything, but I want to be more relaxed and candid in sharing the 'process' with all of you."
Speaking about his beloved fans, the BTS ARMY, Jungkook acknowledged their immense significance, stating, "ARMYs hold a special place in my heart, larger than anyone else. I might feel a bit sorry to my parents for saying this, but the bond with ARMYs has been there for over a decade since my debut — well, my parents are essential too, but it's different, you know?
