To satisfy confused and curious minds, adult hub, one of the biggest adult websites, conducted research that revealed answers to some common queries surrounding adult stars and their lives. And the results are quite surprising.
The general myth about adult stars is that they don’t enjoy s e x off-screen and also on screen. This myth is because people often think that too much of s e x is bad s e x . However, the survey that was done by adult hub was clearly explained by Justin J Lehmiller who is a social psychologist and focuses his researches around s e x and relationships proved these myths to be just that: plain myths!
He collected data from two surveys that perfectly described what adult stars thought about their jobs and how it shaped their lives. One survey was conducted in the year 2013 that surveyed only women adult stars and the second one was done on only men. In this survey women were asked on a scale of one ( not a bit) to ten( enjoy a lot) on how much they enjoy s e x when doing it for the camera.
Out of the 177 adult actresses who were asked, 69 percent of them chose 10 on the rate card which means they love every bit of everything they do.
And when male adult stars were asked, they chose an average of 8.4 on the scale of 10.
This survey is a clear contradiction to the fact and belief that adult stars do not enjoy s e x because of an over dose of it at work. However, at the same time the survey doesn’t suggest that orgasms are real all the time. There might be occasions when adult actresses may have completely faked it. But apart from these, what you enjoy watching on screen is equally enjoyed by the actors, as per this survey.
Lehmiller not only collected data that spoke about the enjoyment scale, but he also gathered data that reveals the age of women and men who lost their virginity, which is at a tender age of 15.
Another very interesting observation that Dr Lehmiller pointed out and put up for us to understand is the average number of off-screen Intercourse partners for both men and women.
The average number of intercourse partners off-screen as reported by these adult actresses is 74.8 per cent in their whole life time and an average of 9.6 per cent in the last year. Meanwhile it was 170.1 per cent intercourse partners off-screen for men in their whole lives and about 8.1 in last year.
The survey also made a very important discovery. The survey says that adult actresses had high levels of self esteem and confidence in comparison to women who did regular jobs. They could also understand spirituality better than women who have never worked for the adult industry. This one is definitely a shocker.
All the numbers that we mentioned above have been collected by Dr Lehmiller from the survey that was conducted by asking 177 adult stars(actresses) and 101 adult actors.
This survey, we are sure has busted several myths. Not only do adult stars enjoy s e x both on screen and off-screen, but they also reflect high levels of confidence and self esteem.
