Long, Long time ago,  in a forest, there lived two crows.

 One of them was very intelligent, and the other was innocent. The innocent crow used to ask doubts and questions and the intelligent crow used to answer. 

 The intelligent crow used to tell the innocent crow, how to lead a successful life without harming others.

 One day the innocent crow asked is there such a thing as a life that never, even indirectly, causes any suffering to others? 

 The intelligent crow answered.

 Perhaps. But what would define that as a "truly compassionate life?" You wouldn't hurt anyone, true, but neither would you help too many either.

 We were created to make this world a better place - not just to avoid making things worse. Our souls didn't have to come down here if the goal was to "not cause pain to anyone." That was better accomplished by not being born at all. Rather, our souls are charged with a mission to create a kinder, holier world.

 That takes action. It takes interacting with others. It takes giving.

 The innocent crow was very delighted with the answer the intelligent crow gave.

 One day both the crows were talking to each other, they talked about  their Lunch which they just had, it was delicious, the innocent crow said, wish they get similar lunch every day said the other.

 While they were still talking, they suddenly saw, a group of frogs  traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit. When the other frogs saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead.

 One of the frogs said these two frogs has done a lot of sins, hence God punished them.

 Another frog said their past deeds put them in this situation and no matter how much they try it's of no use they will die.

 Another frog said they never used to listen to us and were very arrogant.

 The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit with all their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead. Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died.

  The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, "Did you not hear us?" The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.

 Two crows were watching this all the time, and then the innocent crow asked the intelligent crow why did one Frog succeed and the other frog stopped trying to come out half way.

 The intelligent crow answered all the other frogs were saying discouraging and negative things one frog heard all these and got discouraged and that caused his death but because the either was deaf he did not here any of the comments and instead thought that the other frogs were encouraging him.

 When you are in deep trouble try not to listen to what the world says, look towards God and keep trying you will succeed like the deaf frog.

  Moral:

    1. There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day.

    2. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill them.

     Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path. The power of words... it is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in difficult times. Special is the individual who will take the time to encourage another.
