Janvhi Kapoor discussed Sridevi's passing in a recent Koffee With Karan 8 episode. Along with her sister, actress Khushi Kapoor, who was making her TV debut, the actress made an appearance. The sisters discussed Sridevi's loss on the event, with Janhvi revealing that she received a call at home informing her of her death and hurried to Khushi. The Devara actress claimed to have heard Khushi sobbing in her chamber. But the instant Khushi saw that Janhvi was "hauling and crying," she stopped sobbing comforted her.
'Khushi went on to say she realized she needed to keep her composure for her family. She remarked, "I feel like I've always been the strong one, so I felt like I had to hold it together for everyone."
"I was in my room when I heard Khushi's room crying when I got the call. I believe I stormed into her room, crying and pulling, but I do recall that she gave me a quick glance and instantly stopped crying. Refusing to cry, Janhvi remarked, "She just sat next to me and started comforting me and I've never seen her cry about it since."
In a different scene from the program, Janhvi disclosed that Khushi and Sridevi are similar to one other at work. "I believe one thing she has in common with Mumma is her quiet demeanor. However, she simply blows up in front of the camera," she remarked.
Actress Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan, better known by her stage name Sridevi, was from India. She appeared in films in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. In February 2018, Sridevi passed away in Dubai. The actress was present at the wedding of Arjun Marwah, the nephew of her Boney Kapoor. It was eventually discovered that she drowned unintentionally.
