Making a mark on the history of the African American people is not a positive thing on the surface.
But we do know that there were horrific things that happened to the black population in the United States that are undoubtedly a big part of human history.
Therefore, no survey of black history can be complete without a discussion of slavery.
Very few people on earth have such a humiliating experience that they become a central part of their heritage and their past.
Yes, other tribes and races have tolerated slavery, including American and ancient Hebrew.
Perhaps slavery is even more important to the psychology of African American culture because it is the central historical event that started them as citizens of this country.
It was not a citizenship born of honor and dignity, as many others in the United States might point out. Coming to the United States as slaves meant that they came to the United States with a little more importance for their fellow Americans than with ordinary cattle.
And, of course, in the first decades of American history, slave lives were tough. Slaves were and denied anything we could call basic human rights today.
It is difficult to get an idea of the heinous crime of slavery against humanity, except that this barbaric act did not begin in the United States but came to our shores as part of the background of many people, including the Dutch. French and English.

Has the legacy of slavery turned out to be good in this country? Well, the bond that was formed in the hearts of the people was permanently rooted in these terrible years. The music that slaves used to keep their souls alive has passed down to us as a rich legacy of spirituality that we like because they were born in inhuman suffering.
One thing that was constantly emerging from slavery in the African American community was a sense of determination to never go back in such a time and a battle that was deeply ingrained in the souls of the people no matter how long or How hard it was to fight. To achieve the civil rights of full citizens in this country. It would not have been so profound if the people who came here and were only known by their skin color did not tolerate slavery together. Before different people were enslaved, they belonged to many tribes and many were from all over Africa and beyond. Their nationalities were tribal and they had a common pride of a nation, customs, family ties and history that any nation would have. All that was taken away when they were taken into slavery.
But in the space of these important relationships, a new fraternity of African Americans was born. And the pride that has risen in this new nation is strong and has been building for decades. It is based on a proud history and proud leadership. There has been a lot of struggle and difficulties and not everything is perfect on any scale. But African Americans can be proud of how far culture has come and use that pride to push for more success in the future.
