Hi, friends today's topic is Castes play a very vital role in our life.
There are mainly four castes Schedule Caste(SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes(OBC), and General Category(GC). General Category is upper caste and others are lower caste. And every caste has its own identity and culture etc. Castes also give identity to the people.
During the 19th century, the lower caste peoples were discriminated against by other people and castes in education, rights, jobs, opportunity, and all other sectors of the economy. In the last of the 19th century after independence, the government introduces laws, rules, and regulations for lower castes to provide equality in society.
One rule that is very helpful for them is seat reservations in education, job, and other sectors. In seat reservations, some percentage of seats were reserved for lower castes in different sectors of society and the country. For example, after 12th, students try to get admission to their ideal college or university. So college and universities seat are limited, and some seats are reserved for lower castes. So, students who are from lower castes, get seats easily with lower marks in exams. On the other hand, students who are from upper castes do not get admission when they got more than 90% in exams. And upper caste people give very high fee and money to college or university for their admission and especially private colleges and universities has a very high fee. Most people are not able to pay this high fee.
Nowadays, more than 75% of seats are reserved for lower-caste people. But now time is changed people understand all humans are equal, and all humans have equal rights in every work, job, opportunity, education, and all other sectors of the economy. Except for some people, some people do not realize these things. They humiliate lower caste people because they do not give to respect them. They talk in the very wrong way.
The government also takes advantage of all these things at the time of election from low caste people and wins the election. By using all these Useless and silly methods, caste elections using all these methods. After winning the election, government only give priority to low-cost people and did not support the upper-caste people. Government Parties make Members lower Caste People And Give The Money to vote them, And they do not have much Knowledge About All These silly methods of government for winning the election. Mostly it happens in the village area because the villagers are not made to sit on much knowledge, in that votes are taken from them by paying money and the villagers, Even after giving this knowledge to all of them, they do not believe, and they like the government, and they say money means from the village it gives us money.
So the rules and regulations have to change according to the time. People understand that all peoples are equal, and all caste are equal rights in society education jobs etc. The government also has to stop all these silly methods for the election and give all people and countries society and face the election in the right way or do the right things to win the elections.
