How can young people keep themselves away from drugs? Here are five strategies ...

Abhishek Roy, a 12th grader, was in ninth grade when he picked up his first cigarette.  He did it out of curiosity while chatting with friends.  And his friends with him, "Hey, nothing will happen!"  This sentence inspired him a lot.  Now he is only eighteen.  At the age when he was supposed to run after his own dream, he was running towards darkness.

I told the story of this boy named Abhishek Roy completely.  But what am I really saying?  With a little notice, you will see thousands of such Abhishek around us.  At least sadly and surprisingly, a large part of our young society is now addicted to drugs.  Most of them became involved in drugs during their student days.  It starts out of curiosity, or at the instigation of friends.  But, in the end, the outcome is not very good.  Student life is ruined by intoxication, and then the whole life is ruined by a major illness.  There is no such thing as a drug.  You can achieve nothing but money, health, time wastage.

Here are five tips on how to keep yourself away from this poisonous drug addiction ....

(1) Be careful in choosing friends:

"Heaven with the righteous, defeat with the wicked!"  You must have heard that?  A true friend has a positive effect on your life in many ways and wishes you well for the rest of your life.  On the other hand, a friend is enough to take your life on a negative path.  Well, don't think once.  Who throws a cigarette at you and says "Hey nothing!"  Is he really your friend?  Can a friend give poison to another friend?

Try to make friends with good-minded, creative people so that you can always learn something good.  If any of your friends are addicted to drugs, treat them well and try to get them on the right track as much as possible.  If this is not possible for you, it is best to avoid it.  By doing this, you will move forward several times on the path of keeping yourself away from drugs.

 2) Learn to say "No":

It is seen that in most cases, many people take drugs at the beginning without being able to say "no".  And in the end, he can't get over the drug.  In fact, you can't say "no" just because of different words.  For example, "Hey, life needs all kinds of experiences!"   "Test it once, you're not getting drunk anymore!"  If you say "no" after hearing these words, then they take you to another level where everyone tries to annoy you.

"You are the son of mother's lap, why are these eating !"  Changing your mind and taking drugs in the words of a friend is seen as a kind of challenge!  And in this way, the mindset of saying "no" is lost in a short while.

So believe in yourself.  What you are doing is right.  No, no matter how much they try to annoy you, you stick to your decision.  If you can't, move on to something else.  No matter how much you feel defeated by their words, if you say "no" at first and believe in your "no" at the end, then you are the real winner.

 3) Create a positive mindset:

Another major cause of drug addiction is depression.  They choose drugs to overcome the frustrating time.  Personally, I can never admit to being addicted to drugs because of this frustration.  Depression is caused by negative thinking.  Is it necessary to be frustrated by failing in any task or to be reprimanded by someone?

If you fail at something, you have to learn from that failure and start working on a new initiative and keep trying.  There is nothing to be disappointed when you hear someone gossiping, your gurus say you want the best.  Obey them and keep smiling.  Thus, the students get frustrated due to various reasons in their daily life.  Try to solve them by thinking positively.  Try to solve problems by talking to people close to you.  If you get frustrated and make a wrong decision, you will have to bear the consequences for the rest of your life.

 4) Keep yourself busy in creative work:

Living a lonely life is also a cause of drug addiction for many.  If you want to get out of here, join different clubs of your school-college.  Perform workshops and events with them.  Teach others the creative work you know, and try to learn from the work of others.  This will maintain a good relationship with everyone.  And you too will be busy with your own life.

All you can do is talk to everyone.  Keep developing communication skills, it will introduce you to many types of people.  You will not have the opportunity to spend time alone.  At this time it is very important to know yourself, to know about your choice and passion.  You can protect yourself from the dark world of drugs by engaging in activities of your choice in the midst of various creative activities like writing, traveling, dancing, singing, reciting poems.

 5) Concentrate on physical exercise:

If you want to live a healthy life through regular exercise, you will stay away from drugs.  If you can get used to the right eating habits, at the end of the day you will be able to live a full life as well as a healthy body.
