Kegel exercise (pelvic-floor exercise) is one of the best natural ways to control urinary incontinence. These simple steps can help you, regardless of your age or cause. They strengthen your pelvic floor muscles, which support your bladder. If these muscles are weak, you are more likely to have a leak. Kegel exercise is one of the most effective ways to control self-control without medication or surgery.
The prostate is a prostate gland, the size of a walnut, located beneath the other around the upper part of the urethra. The urethra is a tube that carries urine through a member and carries it out of the body. There are many muscles around the prostate gland. These muscles may become weak during your treatment of prostate cancer and some other causes. This can lead to urinary incontinence which is also known as incontinence. Building muscle strength in the pelvic floor can help you better control the flow of urine. Remember, just as it takes time to build your biceps and tighten any other muscles in your body, it takes time to tighten the muscles under your pelvic floor.
To help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, it is important that you make sure you are using the right muscles. It may take you several attempts to find your pelvic floor muscles. So, take your time.
There are several ways you can get your pelvic floor muscles. Such as, to stand up and start the flow of urine while standing in your toilet to urinate (urinate). Try to do this two or three times.
Another way to find your pelvic floor muscles is to imagine that someone is coming into your bathroom while you are urinating, and you need to stop the flow of your urine. Try to stop the flow of your urine.
The muscles you use to stop the flow of your urine are your lower pelvic floor muscles. These are the muscles you want to strengthen before and after your prostate cancer treatment
Another way to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles is to squeeze the muscles in your anus (as if holding your bowel). Relax your lower pelvic floor muscles after each effort. Repeat this activity 10 to 20 times.
When doing your Kegel tests, remember. Do not hold your breath. Do not push down. Tighten your muscles tightly and imagine, you are trying to lift this muscle. Do not tighten muscles in the abdomen, buttocks, or thighs. Relax your lower pelvic floor muscles during each compression.
Once you start doing your Kegel exercises, you may not be able to repeat the task 10 to 20 times. It is better to do a few Kegel exercises that make your lower pelvic floor muscles stronger, than to do many exercises that do not work the muscle properly. As you get better at doing your Kegel exercises, gradually increase the number of times you repeat the activity to 20. Your goal should be to make 20 Kegels three to four times a day.
The great thing about Kegel exercises is that you can do them whenever you want. You can do your Kegel exercises before you get up in the morning, at lunchtime, at dinner, and at bedtime. You can do it while watching TV or reading. Some male partners do experiments with them. If you exercise a lot, your lower pelvic floor muscles will become stronger.
