How Can You Cook Garlic Butter Sheet-Pan Shrimp Dinner ?

(a.k.a.  "This looks fancy, but I only used one pan," I swear. Ingredients I proudly placed on the counter

1/4 cup butter, melted — because I believe in happiness

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for pretending I’m a chef)

2 cloves garlic, finely grated (aka garlic snow)

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (for drama, not danger)

1½ pounds baby potatoes, halved and judged for their size

1 tbsp olive oil, because butter needs a friend

Salt & pepper, added with confidence, not measurements

1 pound of asparagus, cut into "respectable" 2-inch pieces. Large shrimp weighing one pound, peeled, and wondering what went wrong How I Made It (Narrated by Me, Obviously)

First things first, I preheat the oven to 400°F, because cooking without preheating is just chaos.  I line my sheet pan with parchment paper like a responsible adult.

I begin to feel powerful as I melt the butter in a small bowl. I stir in parsley, garlic, and red pepper flakes.  I sniff it.  I nod.  I set it aside like it’s a secret weapon.

I throw the potatoes onto the sheet pan, drizzle them with olive oil, and toss them around like they owe me money.  Salt.  Pepper.  Into the oven they go for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway so everyone gets equal tanning time.

When the potatoes start looking golden and smug, I add the asparagus in a single layer because overcrowding causes emotional breakdowns.  Put them back in the oven for another ten minutes, until they are crisp and tender. Now comes the shrimp.  I lay them gently over the vegetables like tiny pink guests at a spa retreat.  I season them with salt and pepper and drizzle half of my glorious garlic butter over everything.  Oven time again for 6–8 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and act like they’ve always been cooked perfectly.

I pull the pan out, drizzle the remaining butter over the whole situation because I love myself, and sprinkle more parsley on top for that “restaurant vibes at home” look.

I serve it right away, pretending this required only one pan and little effort. Final Result

One pan.  Big flavour.  Minimal dishes.

I casually say, I admire my work from a distance. “Yeah, I just whipped this up.”

 Then I consume it. 🍤🧄✨
