How can we avoid kidney problems?

Many people in our society are victims of kidney problems, the rate at which young and old people suffer from kidney infections is alarming. Many lives have been cut short due to this acute disease.

It is said that prevention is better than cure, one must try as much as possible to avoid kidney problems as they are fatal and the cost of treating them is very high.

What are the factors that can be responsible for kidney disease?

1. Keeping urine too long in the bladder: Delaying going to the toilet to urinate can lead to kidney problems. Keeping too much urine in the bladder for too long can actually lead to kidney disease. When urine stays in the bladder for too long, bacteria multiply rapidly, and once the urine is returned to the ureter and kidneys, toxic substances can lead to kidney infection.

2. Too much meat: Eating too much meat, especially red meat, will lead to an excessive amount of protein in your diet, which is very dangerous or harmful to your kidneys. Be aware that digesting protein produces ammonia, a poisonous substance that is very destructive to your kidneys, so eating too much meat can lead to further kidney problems.

3. Too much salt: Too much salt in food can lead to kidney problems.

4. Drinking too much caffeine: It is obvious that caffeine is included in many sodas and soft drinks. Drinking too much of it can raise your blood pressure, which can lead to kidney damage.

5. Drinking less or no water: Human kidneys need to be properly hydrated to perform their functions effectively. If you don't drink enough water, toxic substances in the kidneys can start to accumulate in the blood because there is not enough fluid to carry them away through the kidneys, which can lead to a kidney infection.

6. Late treatment of diseases: Late treatment of body diseases can lead to kidney problems, as we all know, prevention is better than cure.
