How can I focus on my studies? Tips to help you focus on your academics.

Tip no: 1
Find a comfortable environment to study in.

Never study in a dark room; instead, study in a brightly lit room. This will keep your eyes from straining too much while looking at a book or notes. If your desk is chaotic and untidy before you begin studying, clean it and make it neat. A clean environment might assist you in focusing and completing your tasks with greater attention.
Next, I recommend spraying a small amount of your favorite perfume (for example, lavender smell) in the study area.
The scent of the perfume will bring back memories that you have stored in your brain while studying, as well as providing you with a burst of positive energy and calming your mind.

Tip no: 2
Don’t study in bed.

Never try to study or do anything constructive while lying or sitting in bed. In a setting where you associate relaxing or sleeping, you won't be able to learn successfully.
Obviously, studying in bed will reduce your productivity and limit your focus. So, always conduct your work at a proper study desk; this is the best and most beneficial habit that any student should cultivate.

Tip no: 3
Remove all sources of distraction.

Distractions abound in modern life, and some of them can impair our capacity to concentrate while learning.

Simple advice for avoiding distractions.

• Put electronic devices aside-
First and foremost, treat your gadgets as your adversaries, as they were designed to divert your attention away from your academic or career ambitions.
Remove any digital devices that may cause you to lose focus from your study environment. Put your phone, laptop, and other electronic devices in another room.

Tip no: 4
Use the rubber band method.

Wear a rubber band around your wrist to accomplish this. It's time to punish yourself when you have undesired thoughts or start fantasizing; pull it and let it hit your wrist.
This is the most effective way to eliminate undesirable thoughts and other distractions and become self-motivated.

Tip no: 5
Play music that isn't accompanied by lyrics.

Some people cannot take solitude and require background noise to stay motivated.
Listening to music while studying improves memory formation, provides positive energy, calms, and relaxes the mind. Some people use music to help them concentrate, so experiment and find what works best for you.

Tip no: 6
 Make studying enjoyable.

It's a proven approach for increased attention while study to read aloud to reduce distractions and thoughts. Colorful drawings, graphs, and flow charts may be quickly added to your notes to help you concentrate.
Continue writing while reading since your mind is already focused on two different tasks: reading and writing. This helps you to have intense concentration, and you can learn the materials and memorize them easily.

Tip no: 7
Take short breaks.

Your brain is like a sponge; if it absorbs too much knowledge, it will seep it out. So don't try to study for long periods of time. So take a break to clear your mind; during your break, you can check social media, spend time with family and friends, go for a stroll, play games, and so on.

Tip no: 8
Exercise.

Exercising is beneficial to both the body and the mind. It improves memory, mood, and feelings. Stretch areas of your body that may have become stiff during your study session, touch your toes, lift small weights, and go for a jog.

Tip no: 9
Establish a routine: get up and sleep well.

Study first thing in the morning when our minds are calm and ready to absorb what we've learned.
No disturbing ideas will enter your mind in the morning session because every distraction is almost forgotten after hours of deep sleep.

Tip no: 10
Stay optimistic and motivated.

If you want to enjoy learning or working, you must stay positive and driven.
Every day before your study, ask yourself, "Why are you studying so much?"

Just because I want to accomplish my aim, my goals... I intend to learn and work diligently. No one is going to be able to stop me... This is something I'm capable of. Remember that every minute you squander doing nothing, someone elsewhere is gaining smarter.
