He continues to play as a team in the match of Dream XI, that day he got success for the sixth time and he became the first winner. Along with becoming the winner, he got a reward of Rs 1 crore 139. With this, after deducting tax, 70 lakh 167 rupees 50 paise came in his wallet account.
Didn't get money even after winning crores
According to Mohammad Ziauddin, due to lack of KYC, the money could not be transferred from the wallet to his bank account. On May 1, he got an OTP and then got a call from unknown number 9673485***. The fraudsters took OTP from them by taking them under their guise. After this again many calls came from 8260881*** but Ziauddin blacklisted that number. He was about to open a new bank account when his mobile got switched off. After turning on the mobile there was no data in the mobile. Cybercriminals withdrew all the money from the wallet within a few hours of asking for the OTP.
There was no money left even to come back home.
The victim told that when he shared the OTP, the mobile was switched off since then. On May 2, when the mobile was turned on, Gmail was asking for login, when they entered the password for login, it was giving wrong. Then he opened the mobile by creating another Gmail ID, the old data could not be found. On May 2, when he saw the details of his wallet, all the money was emptied from his account. He did not even have enough money left that he could return to his home. His wife arranged for the money and sent him so that he could reach his home.
Police engaged in investigation by registering a case
Mohammad Ziauddin's family is financially very weak, his entire family lives in a house built on two distant lands. Mohammad Ziauddin makes a living for himself and his family by working in a leather bag manufacturing company in Chennai. His wife works as a goat rearer in the village itself. After winning at Dream XI, he felt that his financial troubles were over but luck had something else in his favor. He could not become a millionaire even after winning crores of rupees. He has complained about the incident with him to Madhubani SP. After registering the case, the police has started further action.
