How Artificial intelligence Is Empowering Marketing

How Artificial intelligence Is Empowering Marketing.

There are many compelling stories about how AI has changed our planet, our economy, our knowledge.

In one way or another, AI has shaped our collective understanding of our world.

Let’s assume these trends only happened once, and that AI is like catnip for physicists. Let’s take that, the first time AI comes online, we humans feed it random data and sit there for a few weeks, delighted by the shiny surprises. We learn about its constraints, exploit it, give up and start in on the next batch of data.

It’s true, but that’s not all it has.

AI has shown us that our instincts aren’t wrong. They’re the right ones. In the past, we relied on bias, common sense, ethics, whatever. But those assumptions are no longer valid. Every time we’ve tried to expand our humanity with AI, we have been proven wrong.

Every new thing is for the better.

We have computers that make fundamental decisions quicker and better than any human could. We are replacing centuries of the science-inspired invention with machine learning — automated information processing that continually learns and does things that human decision-makers have always thought were impossible.

No wonder China and India are deep in the hunt to build the next Amazon Prime. My faith in machines has never been stronger.

Let’s look at the promises made for AI. Your mind will be brilliant. You will make it cheaper, and you will sell more.

AI will take care of cancer. Doctors will do less, so we can do more.

AI will protect you. Police will pull guns and protect us from more criminals.

AI will fix global warming, giving us a second and third chance at life.

AI will pass the Turing test. We will have to train it. (I’ll be honest, I don’t believe AI is intelligent enough to beat us.)

Here are some examples of what AI can do now. And how AI can be extended even further in the future.

Artificial Intelligence models

While some companies roll out products powered by AI systems (Amazon, for example), others are refraining from preserving the integrity of the data they analyze. The idea behind data liberation is that AI systems should be free to do what they please with our data to do what we want with it.

Bots (AI agent)

Alongside the internet of things, automation, self-driving cars, and personal assistants will be bots. Now that AI is powering voice-activated technology, and I can’t remember the last time I said “Tom!” “Over here, Tom!” I’ll be back.

Magical AI

AI can deliver answers and make decisions that make us feel better. We can take screenshots of how to plan a travel trip in 2 minutes, ask which countries are favored by the UK in the Olympics, or help us find our way on a plane. We can consider the differences between the most luxurious upmarket and the lowest-priced one and decide to stay at the luxury hotel and stay at the affordable one.

AI will lead to positive emotions.

As my side hustle in real estate shows, I see the impact of AI on the people I have worked with. Each person, both small businesses and large ones, have witnessed real consequences from AI bias. Some small business owners have seen business owners lose properties to AI algorithms. Many others have seen local businesses take over their city and severely influence its unique culture. Negative emotions are inevitable for those who can’t let go of who they are.

While it’s true that machine learning is just a computing tool, it can reveal the good or bad, the ugly or beautiful, the natural or artificial. It’s true that AI — simple algorithms to solve problems — will not make decisions at an individual level like an active human being. It will not create a diverse global community (Hello, America) or provide down-to-earth solutions to problems.

In conclusion, for me, AI isn’t a pretty train to be on. But it is an exciting one. As a friend once said, “My emotions are always evolving. What we have now is incomplete.” We can continually improve what is possible and open our hearts to the limitless potential that is AI.
