Accepted strategies to improve food production will inevitably play a major role in meeting the food needs of the ever-growing world population in the near future. The biological principles used in livestock will be important in our efforts to increase food production.

Animal husbandry is an agricultural practice of breeding and raising livestock. Includes buffalo, cattle, pigs, horses, sheep, camels, goats, etc.

Farm and animal management: A professional farm management approach provides much-needed impetus to our food production. Farm managers ensure high quality feed, breeding and care. It provides good infrastructure and takes care of sick animals.

Dairy farm management: Breeding, feeding and handling of dairy animals, production, processing and marketing of their dairy products economically including breeding. 4. Although milking, storing and transporting, hygiene and cleanliness are very important. As these processes are mechanically performed, direct contact of the product with the handle decreases.

5. Regular visits to a veterinarian are required.

6. Proper record keeping and inspection can help to identify and correct the problem early.

Another important aspect of poultry farming.

Poultry: A category of domesticated birds (birds) raised for egg or meat production, or both. Includes chicken, peas, ducks, turkeys and pigeons. Birds raised only for egg production are called Layers. Breeding birds are less than 8-10 weeks, weighing 1.5 kg and have a smooth chest.

Scientific poultry management aims to increase returns with minimal investment. Poultry farming is widespread throughout India, both as a small house and a large industry in India. Currently, India ranks 3rd in egg production and 5th in poultry production in the world. A.P. is the largest egg producer in India.

Intermediate poultry farms established in Mumbai, Bhuvaneswar and Hesserghatta are developing hybrid varieties. The Indian Veterinary Reasearch Institute (IVRI) in Izatnagar produces high quality broiler breeds and vaccines for poultry.
