How an individual can overcome depression

Depression (a significant burdensome problem) is a typical and genuine clinical sickness that adversely influences how you feel, think and act.

We all are at the point of life where we want to find happiness, joy, and comfort, but at the same time, we need to go through many of the obstacles and face numerous challenges. Sometimes these challenges affect us deeply that we don’t even get to know when all that small problems and life challenges turn into depression and anxiety, and in no time, it starts affecting our mental health.

Basically, depression is a kind of mental sickness that any age group can go through but generally is seen more in youngsters and teenagers because that’s the age where we start to build, and that’s the age where we are more peculiar about our personality show up and how are we4 presented or treated as well.

Everyone can overcome this by calmly accepting the situation and going through it by putting effort and staying strong rather than just overthinking and giving up on situations that can have even positive feedback. I personally have gone through this situation.
I am from a middle-class family where I have my parents and my siblings with me.  It is always seen that fights are not a major problem between siblings, but when it comes to respecting yourself, it makes a big deal.  My brother and sister try to underestimate me for no reason as they both feel jealous of me, and again, this is something common, but they always try to push me back from the position where I am standing today because of my hard work.

This was why I could not even speak to them or even share this kind of talk with my parents because again, this comes to the point where they will get stressed out,t which I didn’twantd at all. I tried harder to overcome those situations, but I was literally not able to. After a certain period of time, I could not speak with anyone; I was just uncommunicative and silent.

This was the time i got so much depressed, I left to do each and everything and I was regretting that I could not succeed. Day by day, I didn’t found myself to be any more capable of bearing all this situation and tackle any of human interactions. Moreover, I could not eat anything and get much more stressed and worried over the situation.

I was so much fed up of myself and it was such a critical condition that I thought of ending my life by attempting suicide.

At that point, I met my brother after a hour when thought of suicide stuck in my mind. He observed an enormous change in my behavior, and he was shocked that such a brave girl can also get into those situations. He tried to ask me several times, but I was not able to able to tell him; I was in tears then too after some time, I shared everything I was going through.

After that he consoled me, pushed me and supported me, he stood up for me as a good strength. He helped me and gave me an idea of meditating and practicing yoga, as well as he taught me one thing: I should ignore whoever is around me thinking whatsoever for me and think positively.

Even the guided me to stay around those positive, supportive, and constructive people for my mental peace instead of being surrounded by people who have destructive thoughts and ignore the world and enjoy being myself. Let me tell you, I was in depression for two months. I really wanted to convey this message to everyone that giving up is not the right option. Instead of that, share your problems and typical situations with those whom you can trust the most in this world, and this really works.

According to my point of views this is best therapy for the depression. This is the only agenda that i want to deliver to everyone of you is, “SPEAK UP BEFORE YOU GIVE UP”.
