Acne is a skin condition that usually affects people between the ages of 12 and 24. The cause of acne is difficult to know about. However, excessive secretion of sebaceous glands has been reported to trigger the spread of most acne.
Sebaceous glands are a combination of hair follicles and oil glands in the skin, found on skin tissues and all over the body skin except the surface of the palms and soles. They are responsible for secreting an oily substance called sebum. However, many factors (such as hormonal imbalances, stress and the natural state of the skin) can cause oil glands to produce more oil than normal. When this happens, the excess oil blocks the skin pores. This process leads to a bacterial infection and stimulates the immune system to respond. Ultimately, pimples are the result of inflammation.
Acne can affect any type of skin. Oily skin type is very prone to acne. Dry skin on the other hand may not be as sensitive, but can spread severely in the winter. Normal-skin is velvety, with no acne and even in color
Currently, acne is not completely cured, it can be treated with acne skin care methods. Most people take the help of topical medications that are applied to the surface of the skin. However, the use of acne skin care products such as "Poor pads" will eliminate whiteheads and blackheads will have no effect on the excess sebum that is produced.
However, for treatment and prevention, it is best to follow the following 8 simple tips:
i) a Nutrient full balanced diet should be followed. Therefore, the diet you take in should contain all the nutrients that the body needs to function effectively.
ii) Drink excessive fluids like water and juice. Reduce usage of carbonated drinks.
iii) Makeup is not recommended, rather you can use honey or natural products
iv) Wash your face with soap and water. The logic is not to remove the dirt (as experienced by many acne sufferers) but to remove the plugs on the pores of the skin, which may be a combination of dead skin cells, bacteria and hardened sebum. Although dust does not actually cause acne, it can contribute to further infection by interacting with skin debris and cells and excess oil in the skin.
v) Salicylic acid, sulfur and benzoyl peroxide to remove excess oil: Use topical cleansing pads. Another way to reduce the presence of excess oil on the skin is to wash your face with as much hot water as possible.
vi) Reduce the use of harsh cleansers and use exfoliating acne skin care products that are easy to exfoliate. Do not scrub the affected areas severely.
vii) Do not touch hands on your face, rather you can use tissues
viii) If you have long hair, tie your hair away from the face. This is especially true when the weather changes
Acne treatment is just as important as skin care measures for the prevention of acne. With prevention, at the very least, you know how to prevent your acne problem from growing and spreading to the infected area.
