How About Some Customer Service. Please!!

Communication is one of the most important industries in the world. People need to talk, to communicate with their friends and family, no matter where they are in the world. We started with letters sent to anyone who went there, which went on to the postal system. With the advent of the internet, we exchanged email by email and later with instant messengers Somehow, it was not enough.

We needed to hear their voices and not just read their words. With the help of great developers, we have evolved from a telephone to a cell phone and used the internet to make calls. Skype was one of the pioneers of this program.

Voice over Internet Protocol, or VoIP as they call it, has contributed to closing distances between people. It means a lot to people to be able to greet their special someone on a special birthday on that special day without the high cost of a cable or mobile phone company. Skype has been a great service, highly appreciated and enjoyed by everyone who loves voice chat in emails or messages.

Easy to use:

Just download, subscribe, tell your friends to do the same, and you can chat for free! Who can ask for more? Skype, apparently, has become a bit of a chore. After their purchase, things seem to be starting to decline. They have announced new paid services such as Skypes Out and Skype In. It’s a good idea, for sure. That is why some Skype users who are so happy with the free service agree to pay the premium.

Unfortunately, even though they are developing their product skills to find new users, they forget to take care of their existing subscribers. The service has deteriorated since I started registering. Unfortunately, Skype does not seem to matter. Not wanting to provoke the mob if there was a way to fix the problem myself, I revisited Sykes' homepage. I was glad to see that they have a help page with a problem-solving guide.

Unfortunately, even after following the various instructions and suggestions - it still worked well. Usually when that happens, I call the company to ask for more help. So I looked up the phone number where I could get Skype customer service. I searched the whole page and did not find a number to call. The link labeled “Contact Us” leads to a page that says, before contacting them, I should read the help pages.

No problem I did that. Now he said if I don't get an answer on the basis of their knowledge, I should contact their customer support. Now I clicked on a link to that and ended up on the online ticketing system for complaints. Now, I’m glad they’re reducing complaints in black and white, and I’m glad it seems to be the first time. What bothers me is that nothing happens at all.

I told them how I felt about the ministry. I mentioned how often it is that the people I call hear me, but I do not hear them during our conversation. Ask me if they can give me an answer about how to solve the problem.

After completing their form, I received a message from their unpopular welcome message, "If your question needs an answer, we will get back to you within three days." What ?! I thought that every customer should get the answer, even if it means pointing to the right part of the forum! Skype is so busy developing their new communication products that they have stopped communicating with their existing customers. They have apparently forgotten that good customer service will keep numbers on their website high.

If people do not get the help they need, they will leave; especially now as the product service itself is deteriorating. Are they too big now to talk to? Is it too much to ask that they put a few people in care to respond to support requests? Or have they spread so thin that they could not afford to hire more people? No wonder the ministry is beginning to absorb it.

I don't really appreciate how Skype handles customer service. I paid for Skypes Out, I was charged but so far, it has not worked properly. I sent Skype both a support request (from their site) and an email, to the email address of their paying team (an address I did not find on their website but by searching the web for more Skype complaints). I still have no movement for them.

Talk about wasted money! What amazes me is that Skype does not even have a “live chat” or other similar help desk program so that we concerned customers who want to continue using Skype can talk to someone from Sykes who can help. Given that Sykes is a telecommunications company, I thought they would do it for themselves.

That little customer service software is absolutely invaluable! I think I should not be surprised, after all the site is obviously intended to attract only new users. Skype seems interested in making more money; and bringing in more users.

Apparently they do not care, or their subscribers leave because they do not receive help and care services from them. The main rule of any business, Skype, is to take care of your customers. Your recurring business usually over time can earn you more money than it will for new subscribers. It would be good for your business if you could pay attention to your subscribers and give them their total value. I know I am embarrassed in the ministry.
