If you are a serious astronomy fanatic like many of us, you probably remember one childhood event that led you to this exciting hobby. It may have been my first time to see a telescope. But for many of us, it was the first time we saw a shower of fire from the sky, which eventually became known as a meteor shower. By the time you watch the first movie, you can easily recall the movie "War of the Worlds" and the fantastic images of aliens who invaded our atmosphere to take over the planet. But with guidance and explanations about what's happening, we finally found that these showers didn't threaten any or any kind of intrusion. In most cases, meteor showers are harmless, part of nature and very enjoyable to see. So what are these strange lights in the sky? Are you an alien invading from Mars? Will comets signal the arrival of the next ice age? Or it may be an asteroid that burns when it enters the Earth's atmosphere. The answers to the above questions are "No" for the first question and "Yes" and "No" for the other two questions. Meteoroids are actually small space debris, usually dust or small rocks, that result from either a comet or the collapse of an asteroid in space and eventually collide with Earth. We say "towards the earth". Because the light you see is the friction of the atmosphere that burns these little bites of the universe, creating a spectacular show for all of us in the process. A particularly exciting moment is when meteoroids shatter or explode upon invasion. The exploding meteoroid is called a fireball. There are some interesting details about meteorite life that make watching shooting stars even more enjoyable. As you can see, one millionth of a gram of meteoroid is sufficient. But what makes them so spectacular is the tremendous speed they reach when they enter the atmosphere. Before burning, meteoroids reach 11-74 kilometers per second. This is 100 times faster than a fast bullet. We tend to consider shooting stars as unusual events and associate them with superstitions (thus hoping for a lucky star). But with thousands of them each year, it's not uncommon to see them. In fact, scientists say that more than 200,000 tons of space matter invade the atmosphere each year and burn out when it invades. Comet is an excellent source of meteoroids due to the nature of these long tails. As the comet approaches the Sun, large amounts of dust, ice, and other space debris are trapped in the comet's tail. Then, as the comet moves away from the Sun in its orbit, tons of this material are released into space and disperse. As the Earth moves in its normal orbit around the Sun, it often crosses this cloud of emitted matter. And it will be one of those "meteor showers" that are very popular. These shooting star showers are pretty easy for astronomers to predict, allowing you to place yourself at just the right time of the night, see the excitement, and see the right area of the night sky. Astronomy magazines and websites usually provide a general time and place where you need to be ready to see when meteoroids begin to fall. Recall that this is a natural phenomenon and may not follow your schedule exactly. Also note that there is a notation system for where meteor showers occur, based on the constellations as the background. Areas of the sky where the show is designed to focus are called "bright". This is where the inflowing meteoroids begin to glow or radiate. Radiation is also named after the constellation closest to it. Therefore, when a meteor shower occurs in Leonid, its radiation is called the Leonid meteor shower. This helps to decode the list of asteroid showers in the release.
