As the editor of a large Article Directory that currently has over 20,000 articles, we get hundreds of new ideas coming in daily... but in the past week I've received two new articles that both made me sit up and take notice.
This is the first of them, I will save the others for another article.
Many millions of searches are made every day, no doubt more than 80% of these searches are currently made by internet users going through either Google, MSN or Yahoo, but like this new search engine, they had to start somewhere.
After all, it was only a few years ago that Google started, now look how big they are.
This is how the new search engine works: You have your own search portal, just like you would search in any of the big three.
Even if instead of using, say, Google, you're searching through your personal search portal.
The results they provide are fast and very good too, and they are provided in the same way as they would be with any other search engine, but here is the difference!
1/. They give you $50 just for joining, no catch, your account is credit once you join them.
2/. When you join, you get a personal link to your own search portal, which you use whenever you want to search the Internet.
3/. They credit your account every time you perform a search using your own search portal.
Now the potential! The search portal link is specific to you, so the idea is to get your friends and maybe business colleagues to use your search portal too, after all it won't cost them anything, and they will get good results.
The more people you can get to use your search portal, the better... BECAUSE every time anyone uses it to search using your search engine portal link, the search company is paying YOU!
It goes even further, it's completely free for you and you get the aforementioned $50 signup bonus, but if your friends sign up too, they get a $50 bonus, as do their friends and their friends' friends!
So there must be a catch? I COULDN'T FIND ANY and looked A LOT at it.
I actually think it's a great idea, I actually tried it and as promised my account credit increased as they said.
I believe this is a very novel idea that could really take off. It's completely free to use, it doesn't cost the user anything, so as far as I can see, it's really a win.
The search engine I am talking about is also a pay per click search engine so they want you to use the money you make to buy pay per click listings but if you have your own website and are making money for Free just by doing searches then it also means that you are getting your "clicks" for free.
They also have a paid membership which I understand allows you to take the money you earn in the form of cash commissions paid twice a month via PayPal.
From my point of view it looks like a new way to get free traffic to my website.
So finally, if you have a website, or maybe plan to have one in the future, that you would like to promote for free, then this is something you should really look into.
After all, they might be the next big internet player and you're getting in on the ground floor!
