Simple daily habits for health, fitness, and well-being (there are 70 of them!) are easy to incorporate into one's life.
One of the most common roadblocks that individuals tell me they encounter is a lack of time. We all live in a world that is very hectic, tense, and requires us to be on the move all day. When you're trying to balance work, family, relationships, and other obligations, it may be difficult to fit in good food, exercise, and stress reduction. (Believe me when I say that I am right with you!)
I was speaking with one of our fitness retreat participants the other day, and she expressed a need for easy, step-by-step suggestions for things she could do immediately upon returning home. Change seemed to be too much for her, and I'm sure it is for many other individuals, as well. To help you think about what you can do right now to make modest changes in your daily routine, I put up this short list of 70 basic daily habits. I hope it will inspire you to do something similar.
In order to do this, I wanted you to choose one of the three areas listed below to concentrate on for that day. You have the option of continuing to practice the same habit or switching to a new one each day. If you'd like, you may extend your stay for another week. However, the list was compiled to demonstrate that there are several little changes you can make to improve your overall health and well-being by following the suggestions on it. Concentrate on what you need the most and what makes you feel excellent!
