So since you have finally decided to buy that product and you can't wait to try it, you should find out that you are doing anything other than what you expected. Don't worry, you still have a chance to get your money back with the following tips for getting a product back soon.
1. False advertising
"Get 10,000 hits on your website in 24 hours". Such tempting promises may cause you to want to withdraw your credit card immediately. But if you are using methods or using software and you have to find that that beat of 10,000 may result in 10, then this is a good reason to ask for a refund. Unfortunately it is not always easy. Many retailers are hovering over false advertisements by claiming to print correctly that these results cannot be guaranteed. So keep an eye out for such statements and if you do not believe the advertisements look for product reviews using your favorite search engine.
2. The product is out of date
Believe it or not, I have seen products that were still advertised and gladly took money out of their pockets but were completely obsolete or out of stock. I once bought a product that could no longer be downloaded but still had a valid sales page, until it showed the current date showing the end of a special promotion. All attempts to contact the software creator failed and after learning from the forum that I was not the only one who could download the software, I contacted a credit card processing company and got my money back.
3. Usability
Not all software is as easy to use as Windows (get a joke, right ?!), which can be frustrating if you don't want anything but to use it right away. In many complex software products there are written tutorials that explain how to use them and sometimes even video tutorials that make product management much easier. If you have read and watched all the tutorials but cannot use the product, say this to the creator and you should get that refund.
If you have contacted a product creator but could not get a refund despite some valid and acceptable reasons, not all hopes have been dashed. Many markets offer a refund for products sold (e.g. Clickbank offers its customers a standard 8-week refund policy after purchase, for a retailer like PayDotCom you should contact a credit card processor like Paypal with a 60 day refund policy) .
It is always recommended that you clearly state the reason for refunding your product and maintaining a friendly communication style. Even if a product is not worth a single cent it does not make things easier if you defame the creator. Try to show that you have really tried to use the product effectively, perhaps attach screenshots, make suggestions that may be better, etc. The creator of the product may release you as a customer but he can benefit from your experience and you will know. most of the time I happily give you a refund.
Whatever you do, please don't be biased. It is wrong to buy a product you want badly and ask for a refund to get your money back but to continue using the product. Most markets (Clickbank, PayDotCom) tolerate 2 or more refunds, but after that you may not be able to buy anything with another company.
