Dengue is more common in the regions of the world.

Dengue fever occurs in tropical and subtropical countries of the Western Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia. It has also spread to the Caribbean and Latin American countries. Mild dengue fever has a high fever and flu-like symptoms, and the severe form of dengue fever, also known as dengue hemorrhagic fever, can cause severe bleeding, a sudden drop in blood pressure (shock), and even death.

What is dengue or dengue Fever?

Dengue and dengue fever are very common vector-borne viral diseases in summer-dominant countries of subtropical and tropical regions. Dengue outbreaks are highest in Southeast Asia, the Western Pacific Islands, Latin America, and Africa. In India, the incidence of this disease increases mainly during
pre-summer and monsoon. Dengue infection rates are highest from March to June. This bone reaches its peak in April. The number of dengue cases usually decreases from June-July.

Its outbreak has also spread to Europe and the southern part of the United States. Millions of dengue infections occur worldwide each year. The disease also takes the form of epidemics depending on time and region— untreated, wrongly treated, and delayed treatment lead to patient death in many cases.

Patients with dengue may not show any specific symptoms. With proper treatment, it is possible to cure this disease at home. Only in special cases does the patient need to be hospitalized. In that case, too the patient is fully likely to get better within 1–2 weeks. Increasing public awareness about this disease is very important. We can protect ourselves from the outbreak of dengue by following a few measures. This disease is easily eradicated from spreading locally.

Symptoms of dengue fever include-

Common symptoms of dengue fever are 101 degrees to 102 degrees. Fever may persist, and fever may recur after fever is relieved by sweating. It can be accompanied by body aches, headaches, pain behind the eyes, and red spots on the skin. But even if these are not there can be dengue. Symptoms usually appear 4-7 days after a mosquito bite and can last up to 10 days. In children and adolescents, signs and symptoms are not always present, especially in mild infections. Common signs
and symptoms include a high fever of up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.  It can happen suddenly. Severe headache, nausea, and vomiting, rashes on various parts of the body, swollen glands, body aches,
bone, joint pain, and bleeding from the nose or gums. It is mostly light. Skin bruises easily. Sometimes, fine vessels under the skin appear as bruises. This can happen without injury. There may be fatigue and pain behind the eyeballs.

If the patient has any symptoms, he should be admitted to the hospital immediately:

 Abdominal pain:

Abdominal pain does not subside? If this situation continues for two-three days, you must be admitted to the hospital.

Bleeding with stool and urine:

This is one of the most dangerous symptoms. Blood platelets or platelets decrease in this infection. Bleeding starts from various parts of the body. Bleeding from the gums and nose may
also occur.

Decreased urine output: This symptom can tell whether dengue is becoming severe.

Shortness of breath:

As shortness of breath along with fever is one
of the symptoms of Covid, it is also a symptom of dengue. If something like this happens, the patient should be taken to the hospital.

How to understand dengue?

Dengue outbreaks usually occur from July to October. Because Aedes mosquitoes spread during this time. But this time it appears that the period of dengue has come further. Now the dengue
season is starting s

the eyes, and red spots on the skin (rash). But even if these are not

there can be dengue. What is the number of platelets in dengue usually?

A normal healthy adult has a platelet count of
150,000 to 450,000 platelets per microliter of blood.
The number of high-risk dengue-infected patients may drop below 20,000. This is when the risk of bleeding is highest. Moderate-risk patients have platelet counts between 21-40,000/cum. However, in many cases of dengue infection, the platelet
count changes rapidly. Platelet transfusion is required only when the platelet count is low and signs of bleeding appear. Otherwise, as the infection subsides, the platelet count
naturally increases in our body. This requires a diet rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, folate, and potassium.

How many parts of dengue:

There are three types of dengue fever: 'A', 'B', and 'C'.

Patients in the first category are normal. They only have a fever.  Most dengue patients are in the 'A' category. They do not require hospitalization.

Category 'B' dengue patients are all normal, but some symptoms appear in the body. For example, he may have abdominal pain, vomiting profusely or he may not be able to eat anything. Many times, after two days of fever, the body becomes cold.
In this case, it is better to be admitted to the hospital.

'C' category dengue is the worst. In some cases, an intensive care unit or ICU may be required.

Effective Treatment:

These herbs are very effective in reducing dengue fever,
increasing platelets-

Papaya leaf juice:

Dengue patients show signs of low platelet levels in their blood. Papaya leaves help boost immunity. To prevent platelet depletion during dengue, take a few papaya leaves and extract the juice. Drink papaya leaf juice twice a day.

Fresh guava juice:

Guava juice contains a lot of nutrients. It is especially rich in vitamin C which helps to boost immunity.
Adding guava juice to the diet helps in maintaining good health. Take one cup of guava juice and drink it twice a day. Besides, whole guava can also be eaten.

Fenugreek seeds:

Fenugreek seeds do not help to reduce the incidence of dengue fever. Soak some fenugreek seeds in a cup of warm water. If the water is cold, drink it twice a day. Fenugreek seeds are also very beneficial for water health. Because fenugreek seeds contain vitamin C, K. Fenugreek seeds reduce fever and boost immunity.

Food:

To reduce the symptoms of dengue fever and disease, special attention should be paid to diet. Emphasis should be placed on the consumption of food that boosts the immune system. Especially citrus fruits like lemon and lemon juice should be eaten. Also, a few almonds can be eaten daily. Garlic, turmeric, and some other spices should also be used in cooking.
