55th Kerala State Film Awards 2025 Winners: Kerala Minister for Fisheries, Culture and Youth Affairs Saji Cherian on Monday announced the winners of the 55th Kerala State Film Awards at a press conference in Thrissur. The winners were chosen by a seven-member jury led by veteran actor Prakash Raj.

According to reports, a total of 128 films from 2024 were submitted for consideration, of which 26 were shortlisted for the final round.
This year, Manjummel Boys won the most awards, including those for Best Film, Best Director, Best Character Artist, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Sound Design, Best Sound Mixing, Best Lyricist, and Best Processing Lab/Colorist. Additionally, Manjummel Boys was awarded Best Original Screenplay. Mammootty was honoured with the Best Actor award for his performance in Bramayugam, while Shamla Hamza won Best Actress award for her role in Feminichi Fathima. In the female category, Lijomol Jose (Nadanna Sambhavam) won the award for Best Character Artist, while Soubin Shahir (Manjummel Boys) and Sidharth Bharathan (Bramayugam) won awards in the male category. The Special Jury Award was presented to Asif Ali, Tovino Thomas, Darshana Rajendran, Jyothirmayi, and the movie Paradise.
