Gandhinagar, March 2025: The International Automobile Centre of Excellence (iACE) had the honour of hosting Hon’ble Minister Shri Jayant Singh, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, along with Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of the National Skill Development Corporation and Managing Director of NSDC International Limited. This visit marked a significant moment in reinforcing national-level efforts to support skill-based learning and sectoral development in the automotive industry.
During their visit, the dignitaries were welcomed by Mr. Rajiv E, Executive Director of iACE, who led them on a guided tour of the institute’s facilities. The tour included live demonstrations, a walkthrough of state-of-the-art technical labs, and detailed briefings on industry-aligned training modules currently offered to students.
Strengthening Industry-Aligned Training
The visiting delegation was introduced to iACE's key initiatives in upskilling youth for next-generation automotive careers.
iACE's efforts in building practical capabilities through partnerships with OEMs and academic institutions were highlighted as an effective model for technical education. As one of it’s kind excellenc centre in India, iACE continues to support industry-driven learning pathways.
National Focus on Skill Building
Hon’ble Minister Shri Jayant Singh appreciated the hands-on training programs and recognized iACE’s contribution to strengthening India’s automotive sector through focused skilling. Shri Ved Mani Tiwari acknowledged the collaborative potential between NSDC and iACE in expanding access to job-ready programs with global relevance.
