The start of the formation of Real Madrid began with the introduction of the game of football by students and academics from the Institution Libre De Ensenanza which included alumni from the University of Cambridge and Oxford University.

They founded Football Club Sky in 1897 and then often played soccer on Sunday mornings which was done routinely. Now, in 1900 the club was split into two, namely Club Espanol de Madrid and Foot-Ball de Madrid. Then the Club Espanyol de Madrid split again and finally resulted in the formation of Madrid Football Club on March 6, 1902.

After 3 years ago, Madrid Fc won the inaugural title after defeating a tight competitor, Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey final match. In 1920, the name Madrid FC changed to Real Madrid with the approval of Alfonso XII which allowed the use of the name Real which means kingdom.

In 1929, the Spanish league was held and Real Madrid failed to win because of a surprise defeat by Athletic Bilbao, so that the title was taken by Barcelona. However, Real Madrid finally won the first La Liga title in 1931-1932. Remarkably, Real Madrid managed to retain the title and became the first Spanish club to win La Liga twice in a row.

After that there was a Spanish civil war and resulted in the stadium where Real Madrid was damaged. However, since the Santiago Bernabeu Yeste was elected president of Real Madrid, a stadium has been named Santiago Bernabeu and also the club's training ground in Ciudad Deportiva.

Continuing into 1953, the president of Real Madrid began a strategy to build a team by bringing in foreign players who were competent in the field of football, one of which was Alfredo Di Stefano.

Then, at the suggestion of a sports journalist from France, in 1955 a tournament called the UEFA Champions League was created by inviting all the best clubs in the European region. This league still survives until now.

It was under the leadership of Santiago Bernabeu that Real Madrid achieved glory by becoming the first football force in Spain and Europe. Even this big club also won the European Cup five times in a row, namely since 1956-1960.

Many things lie behind the success of a club, one of which is a strong collaboration between its members. Thanks to the achievements made by this club, now a lot of fans who come from abroad, including in Indonesia. Of course the history of Real Madrid is proof of how strong and great this group has been in the past until now.
