The creators have not yet announced the release date, but it has been confirmed that the red-haired boy is returning. The exciting part is that the creepy doll boyfriend will also appear in season 2.

The main character of season 1 will also appear in the second season.

The game of squid.

In n statement released, the creator of "squid Game" confirmed that Gi-hun will be back for the second season.

Although the role he will play in the second season has not been clarified, he is likely to fight against the tournament officials.

While the games were shocking, and as shocking as VIP was, nothing was more surprising than Gi-Hun's last appearance. Director in the interview shared that the idea that Gi-Hun's red hair death was a powerful, symbolic step. He is angry, and red is designed to sweep and show that inner resentment.

Two of season 1 bad guys will also return for season 2!

All the leaders of the competition, including FrontMan (Lee Byung-hun), were wearing a mask. Netflix

Hwang's statement has confirmed that FrontMan will return for season 2 and that "A man in a suit with a ddakji" (Gong Yoo) may appear in season 2.

Both characters were criminals who were part of a secret society that ran this deadly competition.

Mostly of the season 1 follows a detective, Hwang Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon), hiding in the games to find his missing brother who had previously participated. However, in episode 8, He discovers that his brother is still FrontMan leading the games and his brother shot him before an investigator discloses their activities.

*We have never seen Hwang body, which does not mean the actor could return for a second season trying to save his brother. Hwang actress Wi has told Deadline last year that she wants her character back alive.

*“I want to know what happened to him,” said the actor. "As a brother, I would ask him sincerely. As a detective, I want to explore the complete secrets of the game. I really look forward to seeing Jun-ho come back alive and explore all these questions. I hope to see more brotherly love in their relationship."

*"The man in the suit with the ddakji" refers to the unnamed Gong Yoo character from the first and last series. He is the one who hires these games and plays the Korean paper game, and who can enter the tournament before putting them in the tournament.

A scary killer doll with a boyfriend!

Squid Game Robot Game:

The doll was used for the first game in the series, "Red Light, Green Light."

The creator of the "squid Game"  did not elaborate on the season 2 plot in his statement, but wrote: "You will also be introduced to Young-hee's boyfriend, Cheol-su."

Young-hee is the name of a giant scary robot doll, based on a real statue, used in the game "Red Light, Green Light" in episode 1. In the game, the doll would turn from time to time to take out competitors, and when they moved they would be shot dead.

*According to Korea boo, Young-hee and Cheol-su were well-known characters from ancient South Korean literature, often portrayed as close friends.

This could mean that the series will have another deadly game involving a huge, scary doll.

Some characters of season 1 can also play their role in the Second season!

Jung played Kang Sae-byeok, a North Korean rebel who took part in a deadly tournament to earn enough money to reunite his family. The actor dies in episode 8 after being killed by Sang-woo just before the final game of the tournament.

Creator told Deadline on the red carpet at the PGA Awards that he would "try something" to bring back actors who played the dead actors.

In addition, Netflix has announced Squid Game:

The Challenge, a virtual reality show, inspired by the real program. In this show, 456 players will compete alone for $4.56 million, and the loser will walk away empty-handed.  456 players will experience what it’s like to play games. The weak link is removed and as anyone who survives to the end wins the cash prize.

*The author of the series wrote in the book, 'It took 12 years to make the first season of Squid Game come to life last year. But it took 12 days for the Squid Game to become the most popular series ever'

I can't wait for season 2 to appear. In the meantime, if you haven't watched season 1 you really should. I  highly recommend it when looking for the fun and skepticism. This series will leave you confused.
