He who stays, recognizes the pulse of time

The tenure of the previous government lasted for five years, but the record of the longest Chief Minister in India has been Pawan Chamling, who was the Chief Minister in Sikkim for 25 years. Jyoti Basu was the Chief Minister in West Bengal for 23 years. Apart from these, there have been many politicians who have had a long tenure as Chief Ministers.

In such a situation, a question arises in the mind that what is the reason that a person has a short tenure and someone stays in the post for a long time or else a product runs for a long time in the market and something ends very soon.   Has anyone done better, because of this he has got the opportunity to lead or is a product better, so he keeps going while others merge with the flow of time? I believe that when a person is at his peak, his every stroke is considered a masterstroke. Whatever he did for success, it is considered the formula of success, but as soon as he fails, every masterstroke of him starts to be considered ordinary.   I think there is no fixed formula to stay on the peak of success for a long time, but there are some things that if taken care of, then the chances of staying on the peak for a long time increase. You are successful today and not tomorrow, so it never means that you would not have done a better job, so you headed towards the slope.

It is also possible that you have done better, due to which the expectations of people have increased to better you. The truth is that no one can satisfy the desire for better. In such a situation, people start looking for alternatives. It is also possible that the option is not better than today, but due to the desire for something different, people move towards it.   The second thing is that with time there is a change in the thinking attitude of human beings. From the point of view of a product, it is called consumer behavior. With the changing times, you have to make changes or adjustments yourself and keep the feedback system in order to know the changes in time. Usually, when a person is successful, there is a crowd around him that makes him feel like a god.

Sometimes a person starts to feel that there is no better person than that. Believe it, this is where the downfall starts.   You will remember the story of Nokia. Every other Indian used to have Nokia's mobile handset 10-15 years ago, but when rivals introduced in the double sim market, Nokia was almost finished from the market. The only reason was that he failed to understand the changes happening in the needs of the consumer.   A recent example is the telecom industry. When Jio came into the market three years ago, the frozen market leaders failed to understand the change in technology. Airtel, Idea, Vodafone and many other companies failed to understand the power of data. They could not understand that such a big change in the telecom industry is possible with the use of data and after that, the case study of the way Jio has made its place in the market is in front of everyone.   Apart from all these facts, one thing which is an eternal truth is that every human or product has a life cycle. You can increase longevity by making necessary changes in it, but it also has a time limit.
