THE SMART WAY THAT YOUNG PEOPLE ARE EARNING MONEY AROUND THE WORLD?
You must have known that one of the ways that a lot of young people are making good money online is e-commerce.
They find and buy 'hot' products and sell them online with massive margins.
Hot products are uncommon but needed products which appeal to a lot of people and when sold online, will result in a lot of units being sold.
So you hear someone saying, "I sold over 2000 units of that stretch mark removal cream, that I bought for 800 Naira at 10k Naira."

They make a lot of profit - Yes
but hey, they do a lot of work
And spend a lot of money too.
They source great products
They spend a lot on Facebook advertising
They offer free delivery
They even offer same day delivery
They have tons of cancelled orders which they still have to pay for the delivery
So you must be thinking how they achieve same day delivery accross Nigeria.
They use delivery agents (DA) in various states.

Yes, it's like a cartel of honest young Nigerians who call themselves DAs.
So, if you want to enter the e-commerce world, you get the list of these DAs accross Nigeria, then you send some of your items to them.
As soon as an order drops, you find the nearest DA to the order and inform him/her to make the delivery.
DAs charge 2k to 4k per successful delivery.
Before you start shouting that you can do the DA job, let's list out what a DA does.
1. Collects items from various e-commerce merchants and stores them safely
2. Keeps perfect inventory records for each merchant
3. Always available to quickly pack an order and send it out for delivery

4. Excellent communication skills to inform the merchant about every successful or failed delivery
5. Excellent with handling money. If an order is 20k, the DA collects the 20k, removes his 3k and sends 17k into the account of the merchant
6. Brilliant with reconciliations. In a day, a DA can handle 30 deliveries for various merchants. He has to balance and send all their monies within 24 hours.
7. Good with a computer and recordkeeping. Last week, I discovered one of my data entry academy students is a DA in Nasarawa state. She used a software I taught them in the academy to keep perfect records for all her merchants.
