HOW TO MAKE FRUIT SALAD FOR MORNING BREAKFAST

Have you been searching for the perfect fruit salad packed with delicious flavors that comes together in a snap?

Today is your lucky day. My fruit salad recipe is so easy and just beyond delicious.

To make delicious homemade dishes to share with their family and friends.

This fruit salad will be ready in a snap. First off, wash that it could have little bits. So give it a look over and make sure there's no bad apples or bananas in there. I'm horrible. I'm just setting everything aside on a paper towel to blot dry because you don't wanna inject a bunch of water into this you want only delicious flavors you know just pat, pat everything dry.

I'm gonna make the dressing. Starting off with the zest of half of a line, it's kinda of up to you, there you go. Don't go crazy, also do not get the pits off it's just the very end of the skin, the green part. The pit is bitter. I'm gonna add in about two tablespoons of lime juice.

You can really eyeball this. This whole recipe is so forgiving if you don't have kiwis in hand for example, use another fruit you want. It's really like how to make fruit delicious and really easy for people to have in larger portions. Also, just having your fridge your kids can grab something like without having to bug you about it, isn't that nice? Now we're adding in about three tablespoons of honey, there we go. Give it a whisk, it'll take a second, the honey is real thick. That's because it has a low water content, it will soak up that water and turn into a nice delicious dressing. So you know it would make this better? A tablespoon or two have a really nice orange look here, it has a nice depth of flavor, and it will add in just like a nice, nice something extra.

You don't have to use this, so it's totally optional, if you want, you can go ahead and just add in some more orange juice or something else. So a couple tablespoons, there you go, whisk whisk whisk set this aside, kinda infuse and just be wonderful. And this might not seem like a lot of dressing, but it's really packing a good amount of flavor in there. And a lot of these vegetables, what? A lot of this fruit will kind of bleed into it, and you'll have like a nice, nicely dressed fruit salad, don't you worry. So some things like grapes are already in small sizes, but you wanna make them really easy to put onto a fork or spoon, so we're gonna halve them, do whatever you'd like this is how I cut grapes. I think you have the most control over a knife when it's closest to your body, moving slowly and then just transfer it to your bowl we're gonna add everything to the bowl as we go and start off with some of the more durable things.

I actually love using mandarin orange like canned mandarin oranges for this because they're premium, they're like nice little sizes, they're perfectly sweet but if you don't have them or someone forgot to buy them for you then all you have to do is premium an orange yourself, it's really easy to do, so lemme just show you. So use a knife to cut the skin off you do not wanna like you know massacre the orange you wanna like let retain most of its flesh, but you do wanna remove all the pits So now to premium the orange just use a sharp knife and cut in between the membranes. That doesn't sound creepy at all. What was it, the apple cake I made, I said you cut the flesh from the core.

And it's best to do this actually over the bowl, so you'll get all that delicious orange juice coming in. This you can save for later for snacking. This is like toddler heaven right now, you give this to a toddler, and they're gonna be on cloud nine. Repeat that process with a couple more oranges, you wanna have like about a cup of orange premiums.

Yeah, our last bit of prep for this is the kiwis, I love the color and the taste of by the way, but if you're not familiar with them, they could be a bit tricky to peel, so lemme just show you. I like to cut them in half and then use a spoon to just remove the flesh away, use a spoon to remove the skin from the flesh. And there you go. And again, you could do this over the salad, so it captures some of those juices.

This is the sort of fruit salad I grew up having, you could let me know in the comments if you are more of the ambrosia fruit salad person. My mom made something called ambrosia, but it was not an ambrosia salad. She's from Mexico, so hers is like kinda like a sprite non-alcoholic cocktail that's full of fruit. Okay, kiwis are chopped, that's the last mega chop that has to happen for this. However, the strawberries do need a bit of a chop chop chop too. Using about a pound of strawberries, so go ahead and take that top off and then just give them a couple slices.

Nice little bite sized pieces. All right, one pound of strawberries in you go, and I would also just caution you and like say, hey, if you're trying to follow a recipe, but you don't have those ingredients on hand go ahead and do a substitution or if the ingredients are not the best, like sometimes during the market and the strawberries look beautiful, but they taste like cardboard use something else, not worth the prettiness. Madding half of my raspberries, these are really like delicate one, so I'm gonna save some for on the top.

A pound of blackberries, one cup of pineapple, and this is full transparency, out of the can I actually have a whole pineapple, but I don't know I have so many cans of this and is already prepped. So I'm using the canned stuff, it tastes really good.

And then you can also add bananas it's not even in my recipe but one or two bananas, whatever you feel like, that's all done.

You can make this the night before it really comes together, I find that the acid from all these other fruits keeps the banana from browning too much, but if it really bothers you add the banana in just before serving.

Alright, it's time for me to have some too, there's gonna be enough for the kids and everyone else later. Just a little taste.

Before I have a bite, if you like this recipe, check out my summer playlist, all my favorite fresh summer flavors in one playlist for you.

But now it's time for a bite. That's so nice, I kinda just wanna keep eating it and don't wanna talk to you anymore.

It added a lot, just like it is really simple like brought everything together and made a delicious treat.

I hope you get a chance to make this soon.
