From the kingdom of darkness. Col 1:12-14; Give thanks to the Father, who has made us partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, who has delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Many things have happened in this world, death comes to those who wait, they don't know when, where or even how it will come, but it comes to everyone. Many servants of the testimony of God, His Son Jesus, weep with bitter tears for the dead and for the loss of many who died without any hope of Salvation due to the rejection of the Blood of the Lamb. Atonement for them is long gone and no longer available to those who have chosen to follow false gods into eternity. These servants of truth are not to blame for the lost who have died, but those who have chosen darkness rather than light are to blame. Those who died in sin must also be raised in sin to share in the judgment of man. The servants of truth have no fault, they have fulfilled their duty to God and man to bring the truth.
2Co 4:5 (Wesley) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and we your servants for Jesus. The fault is not in us, nor in the doctrine they hear from us. We do not preach ourselves - we are able to either enlighten, forgive or sanctify you. But Jesus Christ - As your only wisdom, righteousness, sanctification. And we your servants—ready to do the worst offices. For Jesus' sake—not for honor, interest, or pleasure. The Father has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. The word "translated" has two specific meanings, 1. The translation of the body as given in the Scriptures. To carry, carry, or convey from one place to another. To remove or transfer to heaven as a human being without death.
“By faith Enoch was translated so that he would not see death. Heb 16."
2. Translated as from the spirit.
Those who are thus translated as status are also transformed as character. This is a change from the mind of the flesh to the mind of Christ. A change of attitude, a change of your thought processes, a change of heart.
Many people believe that Col 1:12-14 states that Christians who have been translated are immune to the attack of Satan and the forces of darkness, this is a misconception and a dangerous belief. The translation mentioned here is the translation of a dead spirit into a living spirit and not the death of the body. Translation from the Kingdom of Lies and Deception to the Kingdom of Light and Truth. From the servant of Satan to the servant of the Lord God Almighty. From the slave of sin to the Son of God. As long as the Flesh is alive, it is the target of Satan and the kingdom of Darkness. Still don't believe? Look at Paul for example; 2 Corinthians 12:7-10; And that I should not be exalted beyond measure through the abundance of revelation, a thorn was given to me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, to beat me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
Because of this I begged the Lord three times to leave me.
And he said to me: My grace is sufficient for you; Therefore, I will prefer to boast about my weaknesses so that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distress, in persecution, in anxieties for Christ: for when I am weak, then I am strong. Paul was a preacher of the Gentiles, which we all are. "And that I might not be exalted beyond measure by the multitude of revelations," this passage says that Paul, to be kept humble as we are, received pests to keep Him in Humility. The word "revelation" was not a book of revelation, but a spiritual insight into the truth of the gospel. Paul says it twice, "that I may not be exalted above measure." You, we have all the wisdom and knowledge of the scriptures, we all still live in this kingdom of darkness. John 17:16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 2Cor 4:3-4 But if our gospel is hidden, it is also hidden from those who are lost.
In which the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, may not shine upon them. I want to take a moment to look at 2 Corinthians 4:3-4, especially the words, "In which the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe," "the god of this world," is Satan ." When we look in the book of Revelation, after the letters churches, we see a pattern that is very disturbing. Beginning in chapter 6, there is no mention of the Church until later in prophecy. This is disturbing because if you have noticed, even though the prophecies of revelation are still available to everyone, no one is paying attention to them. The Bible is still accessible, but man, unlike today, who is obsessed with prophecy, refuses to hear the Scriptures any further or ignores them. Why? 1. The Church is gone. The preaching of the gospel changed direction from the Gentiles to the Jews, that is, to the 144,000 sealed Jews. The times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Which does not mean that the Gentiles cannot still repent, but that the prophecy must be fulfilled as it is written. Rev 11:3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days in the harvest.
2. The kingdom of darkness has taken over the whole world. Rev 11:10 Those who live on earth will rejoice over them, rejoice and send gifts to each other. for these two prophets tormented those who dwelt on the earth.
3. Everyone is biased by the instinct of self-preservation. Rev 6:15-17 And the kings of the earth, great men and rich men, commanders, mighty men, and every slave and every free man hid themselves in dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And he said to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come. and who will stand?
4. Because man has rejected the truth, God has blinded them so that they cannot see. 2Th 2:11-12 And therefore God will send upon them a strong delusion, so that they will believe a lie, so that all who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness would be damned.
Rev 16:9 People burned themselves with great heat and blasphemed the name of God, who has power over these plagues, and repented that they would not give him glory.
