Free Charging for Electric Vehicles From June - Do You Know Where?

Do You Know Where?

Under the scheme, 40 charging stations will be set up to provide free charging for electric cars and bikes.

Electric vehicles are becoming more popular, but the downside is that they can be expensive to charge. That's set to change this summer, though, as some of the UK's biggest supermarket chains announced that they will offer free charging for electric vehicles from June. The move is part of a wider campaign by supermarkets to reduce their carbon footprints. Charging points will be available at all of Tesco's 2,700 stores in the UK, as well as at Sainsbury's and Argos locations.

The use of electric vehicles is increasing in India. However, the occasional burning of electric vehicles has frightened people.

In order to encourage people to buy electric vehicles, Elective has announced that it will be offering a free charge from June 1.

Accordingly, 40 charging stations will be set up across Delhi to provide free charging for electric cars and bikes. This free charging service is only available at public charging stations from 12 noon to 3 pm.

Summit Anushka, founder of Elective, said the free charge will be available to all commercial and non-commercial electric vehicle users. This process is done to move people from petrol and diesel fuel to electric vehicle.

A charging station will be set up in Delhi every 3 km. The reason for choosing Delhi for the project is that 19 per cent of the vehicles purchased there last March were electric vehicles. Of these, 10,707 vehicles were registered from January to March this year. Of these, 5,888 were two-wheelers.

He said 100 more charging stations would be set up in collaboration with government agencies following the project.

This free plan has been announced, as 1 unit charge is currently on sale in Delhi for Rs.
