Once a businessman was completely in debt and his business was on the verge of closure. He was sitting in a garden very worried and frustrated and was thinking that if someone could save his company from closure. Then an old man came over there and said – You seem very worried, please tell me your problem, maybe I can help you, the businessman told his problem to that old person.

Hearing the businessman's problem, the old man took out the checkbook from his pocket and wrote a check and gave it to the businessman and said – you keep this check and after exactly one year we will meet again, then you return this money to me. When the businessman saw the check, his eyes were torn apart – he had a check of 50 lakhs in his hands, which was signed by the richest man of that city, John Rockefeller.

The despair and worries of that businessman were gone. Now he fearlessly started running his business with new confidence as he had a check of Rs 50 lakh which could come in handy when needed. Within a few months, he entered into good agreements with the merchants, due to which gradually his business started doing well again, and he paid off all his debt without using that check. Exactly a year later, the businessman took the same check and reached the garden where the old man had met him a year earlier.

There he found that old man, the businessman returned the check and said – thank you for helping me in bad times. Your check gave me so much courage that my business got back on track and I never needed to use this check.

When he was completing his words, some employees of the nearby madhouse came there and took that old man and started taking him to the madhouse. Seeing this, the businessman said – what are you doing? Do you know who this is? This is John Rockefeller, the richest person in this city.

The employee of the asylum said - this is a lunatic who thinks himself John Rockefeller. He always runs to this garden and tells people that he is the famous man of this city, John Rockefeller. We think it fooled you too.

The businessman became numb after hearing the words of the asylum worker. He could not believe that the man was not John Rockefeller and that the check on which he had been comfortably risking his business for a year was fake. He thought for a long time, and then he realized that it was not money on which he had built his business back, but it was his fearlessness and self-confidence which was within him.
